Questions & Answers
Pulse Showerspas, can you please verify the following: Is this made from 316 or 304 stainless? It's listed differently on different websites. Is the mixer pressure-balance or thermostatic? Is it certified in the US (ASSE 1016)?
The Wave is made from 316 stainless steel and has a Pressure Balance valve. It is UPC certified in the US, which includes ASSE 1016.
Their response: "The Wave is made from 316 stainless steel and has a Pressure Balance valve. It is UPC certified in the US, which includes ASSE 1016." The pressure-balance & ASSE 1016 cert isn't in the specifications, so how do I pass inspection??
Could you provide the package dimensions? Can you provide weight of package?
The package dimensions are 51"L x 16"W x 11"H and the package weight is 38 lbs.
how would you secure the top & bottom shower pipe to the wall
The Wave Outdoor Shower is floor mounted.
What grade of stainless steel? Is this suitable for ocean front property?
The Wave is made of 316 stainless steel which makes it durable enough to withstand the salt air from the ocean.
The listing on Amazon for this model says that it is 304, not 316. I’m in Hawaii on the ocean and 304 develops surface rust very quickly here.
Can I get replacement cartridge or base where hot/cold connect?
Please contact help@pulseshowerspas.com and we can get you the part you need.
Can I change out the shower head for a rain shower head?
Unfortunately the showerhead can not be changed out.
How does this shower hold up in below freezing conditions? Is there a suggested method for install to avoid frozen pipes?
Yes, we suggest you install this unit with a shut off valve so it can be removed during winter. It is a shower designed for outdoor use, made with 316 stainless steel, but we strongly recommend moving it indoors during freezing winters.
what are base dimensions?
The diameter of the base is 7.87".
