Take a picture of your tools mfg. Plate. It includes the model number and serial number plus date code. If you lose it or have to deal with warranty it will help you also if it is ever stolen. Mark it some where secret too.
I understand the importance of recording the model and serial number of your tools for warranty purposes or in case of theft. The model number for this impact driver kit is 2850-22CT. The serial number and date code are located on the tool itself. I recommend taking a photo of this information and storing it securely. You may also want to mark the tool in a discreet location.
I read the distribution of a tool with tracking. So now I'm going to get an Amber Alert when your tool is missing? What till they make AI tools they will make fun of you for not being able to cut a straight line and tell you to get another job.
This tool does not have any tracking features and therefore will not send out any alerts if it goes missing. It's a standard cordless impact driver designed for various home improvement tasks.
Can anyone tell me if a screw gets mad because it was screwed by a Craftsman instead of a Snapon.
Will this driver break lug nuts loose torqued to 100lb with no probelm?
Steve, it should do it without a problem, I use the 1/2 inch to break loose the lug nuts on my Peterbilt that are torqued to 600 to 700 lbs and it does it without working hard. I never used the smaller one as the bigger one works on everything. you might want to step up and get one that will cover all your future needs

Is the 2853-20 a Fuel or not? If not, Can you provide the "Fuel" tool only part# one picture shows the word "brushless" and one shows the word "Fuel" It looks as though they are not one in the same!
