Each kit contains two 32" panels that are intended for the end walls of a standard 60 x 32 alcove and three 20" panels that lock together to cover one wall up to 60" long. Please note that we only offer this material in kits and the 32" panels do not have the click-together system that allow it to be installed without an additional moisture barrier. Two kits would provide enough material to cover the walls described, but a moisture barrier would be needed. To install this product without an additional moisture barrier, 4 kits would be needed (One kit would be used for each wall and one 20" panel from the 40" wall would be used on the 72" wall. Some 20" panels would need to be cut down and the 32" panels would not be used at all).
Can this be ordered with a shower curtain and not with the shower doors?
Thank you for your interest in JETCOAT. This kit contains just the wall system. We apologize for any confusion and we are moving the pictures around in hope that this will be a bit clearer. We do not offer shower curtains, but the walls and base can be purchased as a kit that does not include a shower door. Does this product need clean gypboard or are troweled joints okay.
Thank you for your interest in JETCOAT. You do not need to tape the joints in new drywall installations provided the seem is relatively clean, smooth & flat, but you can if you like. Please remeber that new drywall or cementboard needs to be properly primed and sealed to insure adequate adhesion of the construction adhesive.
Should I use 1/2” or 1/4” backer board for this shower wall system?
Thank youf or yoru interest in JETCOAT. The thickness of the backer board is far less important than insuring that it is intsalled flat, smooth and plumb. Most people use mold resistant drywall between 3/8" and 5/8" thick.

Thank you for yoru interest in JETCOAT. The product weighs in an 105 pounds and it's 120 pounds fully boxed. Please note that the carton is quite bulky and the wall panels are a bit fragile, so we strobly recommend using two people to move the carton around. Once installed and the adhesive has cured, the wall panels are reinforced by the backer board (not included) and are extremeley durable.
Do you have to use corner trim
Hello and thank you for reaching out. No, you don’t have to use the corner trim on the JETCOAT 32 in. x 60 in. x 78 in. shower surround. The trim is optional and mainly for looks and extra sealing. Just make sure to seal the corners well with caulk if you skip it.
