Is there a solid bottom under the drawer where one could install a keyboard tray?

I didn't measure but I use a 16in stool and it's perfect clearance
Is this a comfortable / ergonomic height for a keyboard and mouse to be placed on top? I would like to use it with an external monitor.
It is higher than I thought. I am still trying to find the right ergo height for everything.

The desk I received on April 8th was damaged. I communicated with a representative immediately about having a courier come to pick up the damaged desk and replace it with a new desk. I have been waiting for any communication regarding a resolution but have heard nothing. I reached out again yesterday but never heard back. I start my new job on April 19th and need the desk. I have a large, unopened, damaged desk in my apartment. At the end of the day, I needed a desk and kept the damaged product and they refunded me $10. Get the desk from a different distributor.
