I have a clear opening of 23 3/4" will this door be too small with wide gaps at the sides?
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The Unidoor LS 23" model is designed to fit an opening of exactly 23" which means that it will not fit your 23-3/4" opening properly. You will not be able to seal the door on the side that is supposed to close against the provided strike vinyl strip. The next size up will be too large and the 24" door will bang into your wall, so we cannot recommend that size either. Your best bet would be to have your local Home Depot rep reach out to our custom glass department and request a quote to have the door made in the size you need it. All they need to do is send an email to customglass@dreamline.com and within 1-2 business days, our custom glass group will return with a quote for your consideration. Can you please provide the width of the glass door itself. I ordered a dreamline product and it came 1/2" larger than the stated size. Understand the opening finish is 23", however what is the width of the glass door itself?

What is the difference between this product and the Unidoor 23 in. x 72 in. Frameless Hinged Shower Door in Satin Black Model #SHDR-20237210F-09?
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. In the single door configuration of the Unidoor and the Unidoor LS, there is only one difference - the handle. The handle for the Unidoor is a single-sided handle that goes to the outside of the shower and a sizeable knob that goes to the interior of the shower. The Unidoor LS uses a double-sided handle. Will this door fit a 23" opening?
Yes, it is designed to fit a 23" opening. You must have double studs behind the finished wall on the hinged side and the opening cannot be under 23" at any point.
