A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD provides battery backup (using sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices and home entertainment systems requiring active PFC power source compatibility. The CP1500PFCLCD features an advanced multi-function control panel with a color LCD to quickly confirm status and alerts at-a-glance. The screen tilts for easy viewing when the UPS is placed in a low position such as under a desk. 2 USB charge ports (1 Type-A and 1 Type-C) power portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets, even during a utility power failure. The CP1500PFCLCD uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently. The CP1500PFCLCD comes with a 3-year warranty (including coverage of batteries) and a $500,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

No, we do not recommend using this UPS with a pellet stove, as doing so would void the UPS warranty.
Thank you for your question. We generally do not recommend using a UPS to power a garage door opener. Garage door openers use electric motors that can draw a high startup current, which may exceed what the UPS is designed to support. Our UPS systems are intended primarily for electronics such as computers, networking equipment, and similar devices. For a garage door opener, we recommend consulting the opener manufacturer for their backup power recommendations.
For the CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD (1500VA / 1000W), the runtime depends on how much you have plugged in: At full load (~900–1000W): about 3–8 minutes Typical setup (desktop PC + monitor ~300–400W): around 12–20 minutes Light load (modem/router ~50–100W): roughly 45–90 minutes This UPS is mainly meant to give you enough time to save your work and safely shut down your devices during an outage rather than power them for long periods.
Hello JimmyJam, Thank you for your question. The CP1500PFCLCD (1500VA/1000W) features a sine wave output, not a simulated sine wave. It is designed to provide a cleaner, more consistent waveform, making it suitable for sensitive electronics and equipment with active PFC power supplies. If you need further clarification or assistance with model specifications, please contact CyberPower Technical Support at 1‑877‑297‑6937 or tech@cyberpower.com.
Yes, the CP1350PFCLCD is a pure sine wave (PFC Sinewave) UPS.
Hello Steve, that is a bit of a loaded question. Runtimes vary greatly and depend on the amount and type of load placed on the battery. We do past runtime data across a couple different load levels for this model (CP1350PFCLCD) on our website https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/tools/runtimes/ This unit does have an informational LCD that will also provide an indication of its current load and estimated runtime based on its current conditions.
