Hi Bruce, thank you for your question! For this unit, we do not have soft close option. However, our door is equipped with bumpers in the wall jambs to ensure the doors are protected when opened. Of course, we always encourage careful handling of the glass panels in any case. We hope this helps! For additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us at 1.800.45.BASCO or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com. Thank you!
Hi Tracey, both door panels can be operated, so you are able to use either side to enter or exit. However, the inner panel should always be on the side of the shower head, to ensure water from the shower head does not go through the gap between the panels. We hope this helps! Please feel free to contact our Customer Care Team if you need assistance with our products or installation of the unit. You can reach us at 1.800.45.BASCO or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com. Thank you!
Hi Steve, thank you for your question. Yes, the header and the curb can be cut to your opening size, as this unit (60x70 model) is designed for spaces from 56" to 60" wide. The smaller the opening, the more the panels will overlap, but since you are within the opening range for this unit, the panels should space as intended. For more questions or support, feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at 1.800.45.Basco or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com. Thank you!
Hi Poppy, thanks for your question! Yes, the door panels themselves are entirely frameless. We consider this model a semi-frameless unit, because there is framing on the walls ( if you look closely, the left and right wall have wall-jambs that keep the header and curb in place). But you are correct that the glass itself is frameless! We hope this helps - please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. Our Customer Care Team is always happy to help - 1.800.45.BASCO or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com.
Hi Kimmy, thank you for your question. The minimum curb width required to fit this unit is 2-3/4 inches. For more support, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team at 1.800.45.BASCO or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com. Thank you for considering a Basco shower door!
Hi Gabe, thank you for your interest in a Basco shower enclosure. No, this unit has wall jambs and can be installed with anchors into the wall. It does not require to be installed into studs. We hope this helps! If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team at 1.800.45.BASCO or via inquiry@bascoshowerdoor.com. Thank you for considering a Basco shower enclosure!
Hi Maria, thank you for your question. Yes, both doors can be operated,
do both doors slide opening either at anytime?
Thank you for your inquiry and for considering a Basco shower door. The height is not adjustable, since the glass cannot be cut after tempering.
