What is the name of the connectors that need to be on the wires to place under the screws to install this? Previous connectors had been completely corroded and fused to the dead/broken bulb so had to cut them free from the wires.

I realize these will run much cooler then the halogens they're replacing, but do they get warm enough to melt any snow accumulation on them in the Winter?

A previous customer asked the same question I am wondering. You stated in an answer that it is 12 volts AC or DC. So can this lamp be used in a snowblower or garden tractor with 12 volt to 14.5 volts battery DC when the engine is running?

Yes, you can use this bulb on your garden tractor or snow blower. I have been using these bulbs on my garden tractor for a while now and I haven't seen any issues with them while charging around 14 volts. I have used them on 12v AC/DC and they work fine.
