The R8723b and the R872311 appear to be different subcompact drivers. What is the difference?

Is the bit holder part of the belt clip? Or is it just not shown?

I use mine to drive #10 x 3” screws and it does it effortlessly. I’m sure 1/4” and tap cons no problem. 3/8 lags I’m pretty sure might take an extra few seconds but probably no problem either.
