Questions & Answers
Can i purchase just the shower door
Hi, You can buy as a kit shower and base or just the shower glass.
Is the door reversible
Thank you for your question. Yes, the door is reversible. The fixed glass panel and the sliding door can be installed on either the left or right side, allowing you to configure the shower to best suit your bathroom layout.
What is the height of the shelf on the left wall. That is the wall my plumbing needs to be on.
Although this is shown with the walls, this is just the pan and the door.
For detailed measurements, please call us at 1.866.839.2888
Plywood instead of drywall on the walls? 2x4 instead of doubled up 1x3’s ? Thanks
Thank you for your question. For this shower kit, the installation manual specifies drywall as the wall substrate. If you're installing the OVE acrylic wall panels (Option B), the panels are designed to be adhered to drywall with construction adhesive and supported by the specified double-layer 1x3 wood battens. If you have a unique installation situation, please contact our technical support team at 1-866-839-2888, and we'd be happy to review your project.
On page 33 of the instruction manual in the section for shower base with OVE panels. There is a note that says the six members need to be double layers of one by three. If that is the case, why can’t I just use 2 x 4 material.
Thank you for your question. The installation instructions specify using double layers of 1 in. x 3 in. wood battens for all six support members as shown in the installation guide. This configuration is designed to provide the proper support and spacing for the acrylic wall panels. While a 2x4 may appear to have similar dimensions, we recommend following the installation instructions and using the specified double-layer 1x3 battens to ensure proper fit and performance. If you would like to discuss your specific installation, please contact our technical support team at 1-866-839-2888
Will this if equipped with grab bars where needed quality as an adapter shower?
What size drain do I need?
Thank you for your question. The shower base has a 3 3/8-inch (85 mm) drain opening and is designed to accommodate a standard 2-inch shower drain assembly.
Can this door fit on the Splendor 40x40x80 inch corner shower door sold by Home depot? My concern is the trim pieces that surround the wall panels but can be moved out up to a 1/2 inch and has a slight edge.
Thank you for your question. Compatibility between the Breeze shower door and the Splendor 40 x 40 x 80 in. corner shower depends on several factors, including the exact opening dimensions, wall thickness, and trim configuration. Based on the information provided, we cannot confirm compatibility. Please contact our team at 1-866-839-2888 with the specifications of your Splendor shower, and we'll be happy to review the details and help determine if the Breeze door is a suitable fit.
