Doesn't answer the question, IS IT NORMAL????? SCARY.
Replaced a Philips F15T8 fluorescent tube with Feit T24/840/LEDG2 led tube. After several hours one of the end caps was very hot: 180 F (by IR thermometer). Turned off, let it cool. Turned on. After 1/2 hr, end cap was 170 F. Is this normal?

Is the color temperature for these lights 2700K or 3000K? I'm looking specifically for 2700K, but haven't been able to find any!
