Can the switch button be placed inside cabinet?
Hello Betsy, thank you for your question. If you're referring to the push-button SinkTop switch, it requires a hole diameter of 1 1/4" to 1 1/2” and can accommodate up to a 1 3/4" thick counter. It is also ideal for island installations. I bought this Evolution 5/8 hp quiet series, paid a plumber to install and within 2 weeks, it is leaking from the bottom. Now what?
We're sorry to hear about this, Silva. Sometimes, when it appears that the disposer is leaking from the bottom, the water is actually leaking from a higher place, like the mounting assembly. How does the performance of the Evolution Select 5/8 HP disposal differ from the Evolution Compact 3/4 HP (other than the fact that its motor is less powerful)? Is nit quieter?

Why after installation dish washer stopped working . The error said problem with a drain. If I drain dishwasher directly into sink the problem disappears. How can I fix it ? Ty
Did remove the dishwasher drain plug knockout on the disposal?
I will answer the question with a question. When the disposal was installed was the plug in the dishwasher opening on the disposal removed? The error message you are getting from the dishwasher sounds like either the hose from the dishwasher to the disposal has a kink in it of the plug in the dishwasher port on the disposal is still in place.

I currently have a BADGER 500-1. Will the Evolution Select 5/8 fit with the existing plumbing?

The plumbing may need to be adjusted as the distance from the Evolution Select disposer's vertical centerline to the centerline of the p-trap connection is wider.
