Questions & Answers
After installation, there is an unsealed gap between the door and the wall (see the pictures). The contractor who installed it said that no seal was included in the shipment for this gap: is this gap supposed to be sealed and why is the seal missing?

GW does not supply a sweep for the hinged side of the door panel as this gap is typically only ¼” and therefore it is rare that you will experience water leaking through this gap. We installed this on the base, leaked like crazy! Had a curb built & re-installed doors on top of the curb. Still leaks! Is there supposed to be a sweep across the bottom of doors??
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The Umbra shower enclosure comes with a towel bar door panel and a fixed panel. The fixed panel is installed with 3 mounting clips (two for the wall and one for the base) and silicone. The door panel should have come with a bottom door sweep. Can I use a different handle with this model? I don't want the towel bar and the one without is out of stock.

The sizes of the door and stationary panels will vary depending on what stock is available the time of receiving your order. I ran into planning/design issue. After installation, my 41” shower door opens only about 60 degrees before hitting the wall. Do you have by chance a hardware solution for this? Ex. Remove towel bar, put handle on other side, and plug extra hole w/knob.

If we reverse the door from how it’s shown, can the towel bar be moved to the outside or is it fixed

When I select the satin brass finish, it changes the size to 47.38 x 78 but the description still says it will fit 47". Can you confirm if the satin brass will fit 47" width?

GW offers a unique modular system that is as close to a custom fit shower as possible without the high prices, this is why it is essential to only order once tiling is complete. The TBWH-47-SB will fit a 47" opening space and will consist of a towel bar door panel and a fixed panel, along with a 1/2" allocated for the hardware. The sizes of the door and stationary panels will vary depending on what stock is available the time of receiving your order. What width is the door?

How do I measure for shower door
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Please note that before ordering your GW shower enclosure it is essential your shower is tiled as your measurements will change once tiling and grout are in place. GW offers a unique modular system that is as close to a custom fit shower as possible without the high prices, this is why it is essential to only order once tiling is complete. GW will require 3 measurements for the width, one from the top at 78", the middle at 39" and the bottom at the threshold.
