No, you can not cut this pan down to a smaller size.
Does drain screen come with it?
This base has a color matched lift-off drain cover allows for easy cleaning and conceals a conventional shower drain. Drain not included.
What brand of cleaner is safe to use on this?
Simply wipe the surface with a damp towel to remove watermarks and residues. For basic stains, clean with mild detergent or general purpose cleaner. For cleaning corners and seams, spray with mildew cleaner.
I'm converting a tub into a walking shower, that's the shower pan drain has the same dimensions as the tub? my job its on the first floor above the garage and it has a concrete floor. my customer doesn't want us to break the concrete to relocate the drai
There is no shower base extension kit available for anything that large. They only make them in the size 32x32 and 36x36.
What kind of mortar should be used in installation? Instructions say thinset, so that's a start, but modified or unmodified?
I would recommend the modified thin set mortar.
Can I tile this shower base?
No, this shower base you can not use tile on. The one you need is model # FTT6030R.
How well does this 2.75 inch high threshold shower base drain compared to a 4 inch high threshold base?
Both base thresholds can hold a shower door if that is what you are needing to do.
