What is the distance from the wall or shelf track to the edge of the shelf? I know the shelf itself is 11 inches and change, but I'm looking for how much clearance I'll have when it's mounted at an angle.

I already have the wire racks themselves. Is it possible to just buy the 4ft shoe shelf cover? What about the brackets?

What a bunch of crap. My closet looks horrible with all the general shelves with covers and all the shoe shelves without covers. Why do they sell the covers individually for all the other shelves but not for shoes? $80 for one shelf? Nuts!!

The shelves you see are covers that fit on wire shelves. They don't work by themselves.
Would this still work if we have a 48" space?
I think you would would need a space a little bit larger than 48" to get this all installed. You could trim it down a little bit to make it fit.

The shelf clips into the vertical rail and you can space them however you choose so height would vary. The weight of the shelf with the cover is approx 10lbs. Again, each shelf is a separate unit that mounts to the vertical rails. Hope this helps.
