Questions & Answers
How does the outside mount work
Hello Tleades, The mounting brackets has option for both inside and outside mount. For outside mount, you will need to drill the brackets on the surface you wish to mount it and then the head rail will clip onto the mounting bracket.
Elsewhere you say: "To install a flush inside mount, the minimum depth is 1 7/8 inches You can securely install an inside mount with a minimum depth of 1/2 inch" What is a "flush inside mount"? What is the minimum depth for inside mount? 1 7/8? or 1/2?
Hello, our mounting brackets have 2 options for inside mounting. The minimum mounting depth with 2 round-head screws is 1/2" and the minimum mounting depth with the hex-head screw is 1". Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Have a great day!
Is the color the same on both sides, ie both the street and house sides?
Hello, The side that faces outside the window is white. The side in the house is white dove, which is close to white but just slightly darker.
How do these go up and down
Hello, the shades are raised and lowered using the handles on the middle or bottom rail. You simply pull the rail to the desired height. The lift modules control the string tension so all you do is pull the rail to position.
are there magnets at the top of the blinds to help it stay up?
No magnets required. Our cordless lift systems allow you to lift or lower the shade to the desired position with no need for magnets.
I need 36 inch. Wide. How do I change the size?
Hello, you may view that size at this link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/BlindsAvenue-White-Cordless-Top-Down-Bottom-Up-Light-Filtering-Fabric-Cellular-Shade-9-16-in-Single-Cell-36-in-W-x-48-in-L-1T001-4836/319651861
The description says light filtering and privacy. Is that only during the day? Do these also give privacy when the lights are on in the evening? If not, do any of these type of shades? Thank you!
The light-filtering fabric are not see-through when it is dark outside, although shadows may cast a silhouette on the shades. We do offer Blackout fabric options, which are completely opaque.
Can the shade be rolled all the way down if desired?
Hello, yes, the shade can be pulled down the entire length of 72 inches. The fabric and middle rail stacks on top of the bottom rail.
