this is not a dimple shield. this does not let water pass through. this does not protect from lateral pressure. Mikek is out of his mind.

That would be a true answer, I did a job on my foundation which required 250 square ft,, please measure the total area needed to cover,, I purchased a little more than 200 , I purchased 300 square ft.. hope this answers your question ,, you can cut it any direction because that stuff sticks to a wire brushed clean surface, I also sealed the edges with flashing materials used for roof

I would excavate and replace the metal culvert with corrugated double-walled PVC pipe- which for 30’ would be about the same cost as the amount of primer and membrane you’d need to line it. The fact sheets for this membrane say holes must be patched and debris removed so you’ll have a ton of prep work. Not to mention the weight of the earth will eventually smash the rusted metal pipe and this material is a “flexible” liner. It doesn’t provide structural reinforcement. Good luck!

Can i use on elevated concrete deck for waterproofing and then lay pavers ?

Answers

Yes. I used to be in the highway and bridge construction business and this product met NYSDOT specifications. On some types of bridge decks, the concrete sub-slab was poured first, then this product was put down, and then regular asphalt paving was placed right over the top of it. Of course, this involved pavers and rollers and trucks loaded with asphalt driving right on the membrane. Usually, 3" of blacktop was placed over this, and then opened to traffic. I'm very confident that It would work fine for your application. You need a clean, dry surface for adhesion, and do not attempt below 50 degrees or so.

This is a great product. When used as instructed it adheres very well and provides a completely waterproof barrier. It comes with a latex primer. I recommend getting the mastic (which Home Depot needs to start carrying) for additional sealing along the edges/joints.

Product was as advertised. Has very sticky adhesive already applied, not sure how much the spray on solution is needed. Film seems pretty puncture resistant, and soft enough to self repair where needed. Only time will tell how durable. I used dryloc hydraulic cement and sealing paint over the whole area, and applied the film only in case the foundation cracked further. Gives me peace of mind that i wont have to dig again. Product was pricey, but after digging an 8 foot hole by hand, it seems well worth not having to go through that agian.

Since I am just a homeowner and have never used a product like this before, I thoroughly read the instructions and followed them to the letter. The application and result was as perfect as can be. We didn't even backfill for over a day and there was not even the slightest sign of the membrane coming loose. I couldn't be happier with the product and results.

I did everything they said to do, pressured washed the wall, sprayed on the pre-treatment and it went on with out a problem. But within an hour it started coming loose along the top edge and we spent another hour applying pressure with hard rollers. By the next morning it had fallen off the wall and could not be repaired because it was stuck to itself. I wasted over 400 dollars and a full day of work.

This product is the best water sealer around. That being said, it has some serious drawbacks with it application. 1) the conditioner seems like a waste of time, and money. The conditions needed to apply it are too restrictive or unobtainable 2) it is VERY expensive 3) application is tricky. If the tacky portion of the membrane folds onto itself, you NEVER get it apart, and throw that portion away. It is a real fight out on the edge of a roof.

I used the membrane for lining 2 large CMU flower beds that attached to main house foundation. It really worked well. I added hold down strips along the top to make sure they never come loose
