The unit provides the base with the drain opening, and the plumbing drain components must be purchased separately and installed by the contractor/plumber.                   WOW! WOW! WOW!
                  What a beautiful shower base! I have not quite installed this yet, since we are in the middle of our bathroom remodel, and wouldn't you know an extra section that we need for a glass shower enclosure is back ordered. This base will be an upgrade for our existing jacuzzi tub/shower combo which is dated, uses too much water, and is getting tough to climb in and out of. I removed the ANZZI shower base from its box and inspected it thoroughly. It is absolutely gorgeous! Manufactured beautifully, the color is super bright white (not one hint of beige), and the finish is sleek and very modern looking. The stainless drain guard looks great and is removable for cleaning. The box includes a round screw-on PVC main drain attachment for 2" plumbing. Detailed installation instructions are included as well, and look fairly simple for an advanced DIY'r, but I plan on having my plumber install this just to be safe. The standing area has a textured finish which is non-slip. I stood on it with my bare feet, and it feels very comfortable. The base measures 48"L x 32"W and it is 3" high on the step-side where the shower door will mount. Nice low profile which will reduce tripping when going in/out of the shower. I own other products from ANZZI (including a faucet), and they manufacture great, high quality items, so I'm very excited to get this installed. Way to go ANZZI! FYI...If anyone plans to pick this up from HD instead of having it delivered, the boxed dimensions are 50"L x 34.5"W x 5"D. Should fit in most vehicles. If you're looking for a modern high quality shower base, look no further than ANZZI.

                  Superior surfaced shower base with cleaning concerns
                  The anti skid printed into the base of the floor is great. The base itself is study with an attractive shiny finish. The stainless drain cover looks great but does present issues with cleaning. The remainder of the basin appears easy to clean though the drain is more cumbersome. Removal of the stainless cover isn't very easy in order to clean underneath it which has a lot of holders to clean around. Not crazy about this drain design from a cleaning point of view. The degree of slope is correct for proper drainage to prevent upper water pooling. Installation is straight forward with a nice lip to hold shower tiles.

                  Looks nice
                  I got this as a precursor to a full bathroom demo and rebuild. Planning on making a corner shower into an alcove and adding some cupboards. The base seems very solid, and is a nice white. It may be a bit brittle, as it came with a chip and a crack in one corner, but I’m not sure that will affect the look or function of it. It came with the drain and cover which are both nice and solid, not cheap plastic.

                  Nice shower pan
                  This is a high-end shower pan. The build quality is excellent. The thickness of the pan on the floor and sides are thick, which make the pan weigh a lot. There were no imperfections on the top or sides which are visible when installed. The white color was even throughout. It comes with installation instructions, shower drain grill and shower drain assembly. The shower drain grill is very nice and modern. It is not thin. The top surface has a nice texture so you don't slip. Having had installed shower pans and bathtubs before, this is a heavy-duty acrylic material that is strong to resist against cracking. My expectations have been exceeded.

                  Great quality at a fair price.
                  I needed a center drain shower base for a rental that has a slab foundation. I liked the design and the fact that it had a 750lb capacity. The shower pan was shipped quickly and though it was not well packed (due to the weight), it arrived without damage. It has a really nice metal stainless steel drain cover and comes with a plastic drain, which is really nice. I have Kohler Cursiva shower doors (Home Depot internet #316789385 – highly recommend ) which require a minimum 2 ¾” threshold and I was a little concerned that this shower pan would not work since this is one measurement that is not listed on the website or documentation. Thankfully it will work with my shower doors because the threshold is 3” (see pictures). The sides of the pan are 2” wide and the back is 1 1/8” wide. This shower pan does need a mortar bed for install but that will just ensure a better and solid install. The texture on the shower pan will help with slipping and is in a nice design. Overall a solid shower pan at a great price.

                  Just the right fit
                  The ANZZI Alexander shower pan will give your new shower a quality look with the bright white finish and its textured, no slip floor surface. It is a heavy duty pan and has a substantial grid support structure on the underside, so there will be no dips developing over time like you get with cheap shower pans. All the components for the drain connection are included along with a stainless steel cover plate. This is a quality pan and should give you long term trouble free service.

                  Very solid shower base. Under side has plenty of support and does not feel cheap to stand on. Textured surface for slip resistance. Drain is a standard shower drain assembly (not included in kit). Beautiful finish and has a protective film covering surface during install. This pan has no lip on the sides for wall to come down over. So they provide aluminum channels for this purpose, when installing these pay close attention to the Instructions to avoid possible water damage to structure under the pan. The mortar bed is standard practice but with how well made this pan is and if your subfloor is flat and level I’ve used a bead of silicone/adhesive to make up any small irregularities and attach firmly to subfloor.

                  Anzzi Meadow Shower Floor The Anzzi shower floor is a high quality one-piece shower floor. The floor is pre-graded to the pre-punched drain hole. The floor has a non-slip surface that is part of the manufacturing process so there is no need for a bath math if you choose not to use one. The floor is set on a bed of either mortar or sand for a soft cushioning feeling. The underlayment serves two purposes. One is the have a softer feel to the floor and the other is to deaden sound from the floor contact with concrete or other sub-floor. The one-piece design makes it simple to clean and prevent leaks. This model has a cover at the drain end to give a complete smooth finish to the floor and to cover the drain to prevent uneasy items from inadvertently clogger the drain. The finger holes for the cover removal are simple to use with no tools required. The floor is shipped with edging for wallboard and tile finishing to the floor. It will also help with eliminating potential leaks at the seam. Solid product. Smooth and clean finishes. anti slip embedded in the floor.

                  This is a lightweight double threshold arcylic shower base in white. The shower base has a grid over the drain and it is over a centered drain hole. The entire base is sloped towards the drain. The shower pan for the size is signficant and could easily be adapted for a handicapped person. The drain base is sturdy and has simple installation utilizing normal tiling tools and caulk.
