Thank you for getting in touch. This isn’t a Grizzly model, and we don’t have any technical specifications for SawStop products. You’ll need to contact SawStop directly for assistance.

A moth flew by sneezed and set the cartridge off, but the blade didn't drop out. When I turn it on I just get the solid red. Manual says replace cartridge but the blade is still up? Did this not work as intended? No skin touched the blade.

Are Diablo blades with non-stick coating compatible with the auto-stop function?
          ByMay 31, 2025
          1 Answer |
          Answer This Question

When it comes to other brands, we do not have a set list of compatible or incompatible blades. What we can speak to is the fact that we have an assortment of high-quality blades that are compatible with our saws, which you can find on our Parts Store at https://www.sawstopstore.com/product-category/accessories/blades/. You can also use other brands of blades, given they are a 10” standard-tooth steel blade with steel or carbide teeth. We recommend against the use of blades with tooth “shoulders” (often called depth-limiting or anti-kickback shoulders), as these blades will take longer to stop in the event of an accident. Do not use blades with non-conductive hubs or teeth, as the safety system will not allow the saw to operate with these blades installed. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Will this saw accept 8 “ dido stacked blades
            ByJan 12, 2025
            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

No, Dado stacks are much heavier than a standard table saw blade. The forces created in the retraction of a dado stack require much larger and heavier drivetrain and structural components than can be accommodated on our lightweight and portable saw body. We recommend our JSS Pro table saw for users that require dado capability in a mobile package.

once the brake is engaged, can the brake be reset and the saw returned to service?

                Answer This Question

We appreciate your inquiry. For the T33442 Table Saw, once the stop is activated, both the blade and the cartridge will need to be replaced. You'll need the T33202 Brake Cartridge.

                  $1,000 headache
Received our first CTS and everything about it was off. Was going to buy 4 of these for jobsites but now I think maybe CTS is Completely Totally Sucks. Blade and miter slot not even close to alignment. Rip fence incorrectly assembled at factory. Spent 1 hour fixing and aligning the thing only to discover table top is way out of flat. SawStop support unhelpful and unsympathetic. Had to send multiple emails, photos and videos. Not even a hint of apology for the poor build quality. They confirmed saw is not serviceable. Now they want me to disassembled and permanently disable it but cutting out wiring and sending a small electronic part back to them.... then they will replace. More wasted time. It's a $1,000 headache. As an extra SawStop Customer Service bonus they said this hunk of junk is now mine to deal with...in other words I must invest more time and money to dispose of it! From what I've seen so far it's not even close to the build quality or power as the Dewalts we own. Not impressed.

                    Sawstop CTS
I was very impressed when I pulled the saw out of the box. Well built, the fence slides smoothly and came out of the box almost perfectly dialed in-at 24 inches it was off 1/32. Turning the saw on it has a ton of power, it zips through 3/4 birch plywood. It does come with a 24 tooth blade for ripping, after unboxing, I swapped it with a 40 tooth combo blade. The tool kit in the rear comes with all the normal safety gear, and includes a spot to put an extra brake. The safety override is very easy to activate for cutting wood that might have nails or is wet- just remember you have to override every time after shutting the saw off The only reason for the 4 stars is the dust collection port was cracked out of the box. Ill glue it up, no big deal, but for the price it would be nice not to deal with that. The CTS stand didnt seem efficent for setting up tools on the job site, so i modified the saw to fit on a dewalt table saw stand.

The safest compact table saw on the market
This is a very safe and high quality saw in my opinion. It doesn't run dado stacks, but I prefer routers for those needs. The saw also arrived perfectly calibrated as checked with my Woodpeckers Mini Square. The micro-adjust feature & rack and pinion fence work superbly, onboard storage holds all its accessories, and the aluminum tube structure is very rigid and light. A factory metric scale can also be ordered from Australia if desired.

I will never order from Home Depot again, took weeks to get delivered and then had been open and parts were missing. You must not have read my last review, and I am still waiting for my refund

I am very satisfied with my purchase os the SawStop Compact Table Saw. I also purchased the stand on which it sits and am pleased with the stability of that as well. I’ve made about 75 cuts on it so far and really appreciate the accuracy of the “dialed in” measurements. Most of all, I am happy to use something that will save me from myself if I ever get careless with my cutting. My recommendation to anyone interested in this product would be to ensure you think about the size of your work products and purchase a table large enough to handle it. This one will work for my smaller work product sizes.

95% Good, and you can fix the other 5% while you're buying the saw
Great saw once you dial in the blade and the fence. Adjustability and access seem well thought out, and I like the rack and pinion fence The little accessory pack on the back is cute, but if you're building it into a table, not of much use and may end up stored in a drawer some where on the table. But I still like the idea, these small saws have parts, and those parts need to go some where, at least this gives you a fighting chance of holding on to them. I like that it's direct drive and was pretty surprised at how smooth it runs, not much vibration at all. Very happy about that. Now the stuff I don't like. When unpacking, might as well toss the push stick and saw blade in the spare parts drawer for all they are worth. Get a decent blade and either cut out a safer push stick or pick one up when you get the saw. Cause those included with this thousand dollar saw are aweful. A 24-tooth blade can be useful for ripping 2x4s, but that's about it and even then it should be a good blade. This one isn't. Mine is sporting a 40 tooth CMT now and cuts much, much better. The push stick is dangerous because it doesn't allow for any downward pressure on the material you are cutting. For a company that put so much time into building a quality saw and a safe one at that, it is disappointing these two necessary accessories are so woefully inadequate. But at least they are easy to replace and fairly inexpensive to address, so there's that. Even with those two things though, I still love the saw.

I am replacing my older Dewalt. The saw looks and feels well made. I hope and plan is to not test its unique design.
