Can you use a foot pedal with this saw
We appreciate you reaching out. A scroll saw can be used with a foot switch as long as the voltage and amperage match. The D4874 Foot Switch is an excellent option for tools that require frequent on-and-off control, such as scroll saws.
Does it have a hold down to help hold the wood down?

Specification Highlites note that "the blade can be turned 90 degrees". Does mean this scroll saw has two-directional cutting capability, or does it mean something else? Thanks in advance.
We appreciate your inquiry. The blade can be rotated 90 degrees in either direction, allowing the teeth to face the side of the machine instead of the front when you’re standing in front of the saw. Although this isn’t mentioned in the manual, there are cap screws on both the top and bottom blade holders that you simply loosen to rotate the holder. Will this machine cut stained glass
