Love this cabinet
I bought this cabinet to display my perfume collection. It is perfect for what I needed it for. I had my husband anchor it to the wall for stability. I would highly recommend this cabinet!

Easy to assemble, would recommend doing it with a second person so it goes faster and you can be gentle without damaging the product. Only issue that was a bit annoying is one of the screws at the top and bottom is hard to get screwed in with a standard length screw driver, we used a screw driver bit with a set of pliers to get in to tighten. I would recommend putting the hinges on prior to avoid line up issues (thats where the 2nd person comes in for help. If you are putting anything fragile in there I would say be careful as the magnets are very strong and could easily shift the unit.
Looks great in our kitchen, we are using it for our shot glass collection.

Another great piece from Home Decorators Collection
I keep coming back to HD and HDC... their Mission/Arts & Crafts furniture is classic design, with a beautiful finish, and assembly has been a breeze for this middled-aged female DIYer. This cabinet arrived with a damaged top mantle and all it took was a phone call to have a no-questions-asked replacement piece shipped and available within a few days. The adjustable shelves accomplish exactly what I wanted -- functionality and flexibility with both DVDs and video tapes.

Horrible and super flimsy
I’m beyond frustrated. The little circle screws that you pop into the holes keep falling out. The four circle screws at the very top of the cabinet will not tighten no matter how hard I try. As soon as I tighten, it turns the other way and loosens. So basically you have four screws that are there for decorative purposes at this point as they don’t serve any other purpose like actually tightening and holding the wooden panels in place. I’ll have to use gorilla glue to keep it from falling apart.

This is the DVD cabinet you should buy.
I love this DVD cabinet! I read reviews that claimed the cabinet was wobbly and the doors didn't align properly. If assembled carefully and accurately, the cabinet is excellent. Mine looks like it was assembled professionally. I took my time and followed each diagram step-by-step. The cabinet is super-sturdy with perfect alignment. You must mount to the wall with the brackets provided. It's a gorgeous cabinet and takes up little space. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I ordered cherry, but it actually looks like oak with red cherry stain. However, the color worked for me, so I kept it. It really looks great!
