Questions & Answers
Is this rug eoko tek certified?
Hello Milly, thank you for your interest in our rugs. As for your inquiry, the ADR207B is OEKO TEX certified. We hope this answer helps you in your decision.
Is the 8 x 10 exactly that? I can’t have a rug longer than 10 feet, and some of them are.
Helllo Utex, thank you for your inquiry. It's important to note that the dimensions of this rug may exhibit slight variations, typically within a few inches. This occurrence is standard in Safavieh power-loomed rugs, as they are crafted using computer-controlled machinery. Specifically, for larger sizes, the rug may display minor discrepancies in both length and width. It's essential to understand that this variation is not indicative of a defect but rather a common characteristic of this collection.
What is the most accurate size of the 8x8 square in inches? Thanks

Do your rugs come rolled or folded?
Hello Janc, thank you for your inquiry. All our larger sizes, preferably sizes over 72" are required to be folded first and then rolled for shipment. We follow the dropship measurement requirements with our carriers. Our carriers have shipping restrictions that we have to abide by for all Safavieh rugs. Square, round, and larger-sized rugs will be shipped folded, then rolled since if only rolled they will exceed the size restriction.
Dogs on here, OK
Hello! The Adirondack rug is suitable for pets as its made of polypropylene, easy to clean, and durable. Thank you for your question.
is it tough enough for 3 large dogs to play on?
While this rug is durable and stain-resistant, it's not specifically designed to withstand the wear and tear of rough play from large dogs. The manufacturer recommends professional cleaning for tough stains. Over time, heavy use might cause damage to the rug fibers.
what type of pad should be used to keep it in place that would provide a non slip backing ?
Hello Sandy - Thank you for your question. This depends on where the rug is being placed. There are multiple different rug pads available such as, Outdoor pads, pads for rugs placed over carpeting, or hard surface flooring. We recommend using the link below to view Safavieh rug pads. *Please kindly note that our Rug Pads may not be suitable for use on vinyl, lacquered or acrylic surfaces. - https://safavieh.com/rugs/padding
WHAT IS THE BACKING MADE OF? MUST KNOW. THANK YOU.
Hi Mich. There is no true backing for this rug. It has a jute weft that holds the foundation together on the corner and underneath the pile. Thank you for your inquiry.
