Can these beams be stained?
Urethane does not take traditional wood stain, but can be finished using a gel stain to achieve the stained wood look
Are these cutable?
Yes! These beams can absolutely be cut using standard wood working tools
Can this specific product, or all polyeurathane products of yours, be painted? I was looking at a different product that could be painted, but I want to know about this one please.
Yes! All of our urethane products take paint extremely well, we recommend using a high quality latex based paint

Is it OK to run AC / HVAC duct work through these beams?
Yes, these beams can be used to cover duct work!
how do you apply the beam to the ceiling./ is it glued what do you use?
We recommend using interior blocking to build a frame for the beam, and then using a combination of finish nails and high quality construction adhesive to secure the beam. You can refer to our full installation guide for detailed instructions.
