20 in. Oscillating Wall Fan, 4800 CFM High Velocity Industrial Heavy Duty Shop Fans in Yellow with 3-Speed setting

I picked up this Atemomen 24" Wall Fan thinking it would be one of those "hang it up, plug it in, done" kind of deals… yeah, not quite. This thing comes in pieces. I mean everything—the cage (front and back), motor, blades, mounting bracket—you're basically assembling the whole fan yourself. That said, it really wasn't that bad. If you're halfway handy, you'll get through it without much frustration. Once it's together though, this thing is a beast. It's definitely not a quiet fan, but honestly that's expected. You don't move this kind of air without some noise. And it moves a LOT of air. Exactly what I needed working out in the Florida heat. It's designed as a wall mount, but I'm actually going a different route and putting it on a rolling stand (with locking wheels—important). I move around a lot while working' so having it portable just makes more sense for me. Build quality feels solid—heavy-duty metal, outdoor-rated (IP44), so it should hold up just fine in rougher conditions. One thing though—check the measurements before you buy. Pictures don't do it justice. This thing is BIG. Like, bigger than you probably expect. Overall, I'm happy with it. Not plug-and-play like I thought, a bit noisy—but powerful, solid, and does exactly what I need. I'd definitely recommend it.

I selected this fan specifically to keep me cool in the hot summer days when I am working in the garage. I can tell already that it is going to do the job as it is very powerful. The fan is quite heavy, so it must be installed into a stud with powerful bolts. The power cord is about 10 feet long, which allows some flexibility in placement. My garage has ceiling electrical outlets, so I chose to use those, but I think the fan’s design is more geared toward running the cord down rather than up. The fan has three speeds, with all being very strong, and with little to no vibration. The oscillation option is great to cool a wide area; however, I am a little disappointed when I stop the oscillation because the fan just kind of settles at its low point rather than stay pointed in the direction that I stopped it. The fan is also pretty loud in the relative closeness of the garage, but in a more open area would probably be less of an issue. Assembly was not that difficult, with good instructions. Attaching the front grill to the back grill may have been the most difficult part, just ensuring it was properly lined up. Overall, it took me about an hour to assemble the fan, bolt the support to the wall, run the power cord just right, and line up the direction and tilt that I wanted. I’m sure the fan will be great during those hot summer projects.

A little bigger than expected. The whole unit itself measures aprox. 22” diameter [with the blades measuring at 20”.] Installation VERY straight forward and couldn’t be much easier… bolt the mounting plate to something sturdy, slide fan onto post, slide post into mounting plate, tighten things snug and you’re done. Comes with a grounded plug so no hard wiring required. Good looking fan. Pull-chains work smooth and control x3 fan speeds and oscillating on/off. Oscillating feature a bonus and works well. We sometimes get water in our garage during driving rains and this helps provide great air circulation when trying to dry things out. Best part is having it up and out of the way and immediately available at any moment. Fan does a great job at moving lots of air. Good for clearing the air [in garage] after spray painting and help cool things down in the summer. Honorable mention … a good “yellow” color match to popular tool brand if you’re into that.

This is a great fan for farm or shop that will move a lot of air. The good is the heavy robust build quality, heavy mounting bracket complete with lag screws (and masonry toggles included), the oscillation feature that can be stopped at any point in its arc to direct air to different parts of the building and the three-speed functionality. There are a few things I dislike, first is that the bracket has holes spaced very wide, so putting this on a 4x4 post means that you need to scab a piece of wood on the side of the post or just skip two of the holes which is what I did (this bracket will hold a LOT of weight even with only two lags being used). I feel like there should be some mounting options, like a provision made for the mount to be lagged to a ceiling joist that lets the fan hang down, the manual makes no mention of mounting in any other orientation other than as shown, however. If you wanted, I think this would be an easy thing to mount to a base of your own fabrication to move it around the shop. I dislike that the three speeds are spaced kind of close together and wish the fan had a couple more lower speeds. As it is the fan is loud (on high speed it was pegging around 83 db's directly at the front of the blades) and when facing you directly makes a humming frequency that may get tiring. The fan consumes around 150 watts on high speed. If you're looking for a fan for barn or shop I think this is a very good one. I think if you have a very small garage or workshop this might be overkill.

I received the fan and everything was great. I had it hooked up for two days and went to start it again and sparks came from the fan housing. I took the fan down and two of the 3 wires were cut from the grommet that was installed into the fan housing that holds the wires from the factory. I took it apart and fixed the wires and installed a new grommet. As I couldn’t be without the fan to have it sent back.

Fan was working perfect in my garage for 3 weeks and it gave out it stop oscillating I contact the company thru email and still haven’t received a response in how my warranty will cover or how do I go by repairing my fan smh.

Easy to mount fit you use a plate underneath the mountion plant, its too wide to put more that 2 screws into a stud wall. Oscillating function works intermittantly not reliable'
