4-Pack 6 in. Selectable CCT Integrated LED White can less Baffle with New Construction Mounting Frame, Light Kit

EnviroLite’s 6 in. Selectable CCT Integrated LED Black Canless Baffle w/ New Construction Mounting Frame is just the ticket to splash light in a small space. I installed my four pack in two walk-in closets, a laundry room, and above my kitchen sink. The walk-ins and laundry room were all roughly 8’x6’ and only one light is all that is needed in those spaces. The units are easy to install. Although they were labeled for new construction, the spaces I installed mine were 1976 and 1986 construction. Did I use the frames between the joists? In a word, no. I simply put the template on the ceiling where I wanted my light to be, traced around it with a black marker, sawed a hole with my drywall saw, connected the wires, and popped it in the ceiling. Three of my installations were coincidental with where a dated fixture and utility box had been in the ceiling, and one was a greenfield installation. The lamp itself comes with a small wiring box and strong springs that clamp the fixture in place. Installation time for each unit was about 20 minutes depending on how much trouble the existing utility box gave me when removing it. I like the black canless baffles. It helps the fixture pop when installed in a white ceiling (and whose ceilings aren’t?). When the light is on, it’s too bright to admire the black canless baffle, but when it’s off, your left with a black ring encircling your new LED lighting system. I like the flexibility of the settings. I’m more of a “surgical suite” light kind of guy and my wife is more of a golden glow person. If she wants a golden glow, she’ll just have to climb a ladder, pull the fixture, and fiddle with the switch. This is easily accomplished, but I doubt she will do it. It’s too much fun to just complain about the light every time she turns them on.

The selectable CCT integrated LED bronze can less lights are well done. They come complete with easy attach wire connectors to make installation simple. They also have standard adjustable joist hangers for 16 or 24 inch center installations. I like the wiring box access for opening on either side for wiring from either direction. The bronze color gives a stylish look for a unique touch. The LED lighting is also adjustable for a range of lumen values for your brightness taste.

These canless LED lights were easier to install than what I was anticipating. I used the frame to install these lights. The instructions with included in the box were not as clear as the instructions on Home Depot's product page, so double check the indteuctions. Installing the frame on a drop ceiling was as easy as cutting out a circle in a ceiling tile, bending a couple of metal ends on the frame, and placing on top of the tile. Wiring and adding the LED were just as easy. The fixture has a nice look and each light provides plenty of light. The ability to change color temperature is a really nice feature as well. We are very happy with these canless LED lights.

Very bright light and easy to install. The light comes with quick connectors that work very well and eliminate the need for wire nuts. The light has an adjustable brightness from 2700k-5000k. The light bracket was very useful and easily adjustable. I used them in my garage in the ceiling. My garage is 20x30 and two lights was enough to light up the garage.

This is a bright can-less baffle light. It comes with a mounting cage for use with plaster ceilings, but the cage is not necessary for some installations. As a retrofit, the light can simply mount in a hole cut in the drywall. One of the included pics shows how the mounting spring system works in a 6 3/8 inch hole. It is very simple and very secure. I like that the color temperature is user-selectable.

This is a high-quality light fixture made of good material. Easy to install since the nails are preset into the frame. The frame mounts up to the ceiling joists and all you need to do is hammer the nails in order to hold it in place. The wiring is simplified by the easy to connect wire connectors and no need for wire caps. The sides of the wiring box are removable which makes it for easy access to connect the internal to external wiring. All you need to do is extend your wiring from the switch to the lights and then tandem them in places where you need light, and you're done. The pattern for the hole is provided so there is no guess work on how big the hole needs to be for the ceiling light to go through and connect to the frame. Easy to install the whole fixture and the light provided is excellent.

these are a nice way to install recessed lighting much better than can style recessed light. The light attaches by spring arms which provide a more positive hold that the can style that relies on friction to stay in the mount. I also like the nails built into the frame saving me from that awkward trying to hold the frame and a nail whilst hammering which leads to sore thumbs. the frames also have ears so it stays flush with the bottom of the joist making installation a breeze. there is also a lock screw to hold the light in place after lining it up between the joist there is nothing worse than the light being bumped out of line when putting on the drywall. also being able to choose the light output via the switch on the fixture makes it versatile to any decor All in all these lights are easy to install and make the job easy and looking great

i installed these a den office that had no ceiling lighting except for a ceiling fan. i went the retrofit route and didn't use the new construction frames. i drilled 6 inch holes with a hole saw and and had to fish wire through the existing joists using a wire pull 6 foot drill bit. i hooked up the wire as needed to the lights and set the lights to 4000k. i then installed them in the ceiling holes using the clamping system. NOTE these fixtures only work with a triac dimmer.

These were very useful and easy to install. We were able to place them in the open ceiling cavity that is currently awaiting drywall. The ability to adjust the placement was key as we needed them in specific places. They put off a good amount of light and the ability to change the color was very nice. They were easy to wire up because of the quick connects on the units.
