The M12 Compact Spot Blower delivers up to 110 MPH wind speed with a maximum CFM of 175.
Does the surge have more torque than just the m12 fuel
The M12 FUEL Impact Driver (2553) max torque is 1,300 in-lbs and the M12 FUEL SURGE Hydraulic Driver (2551) max torque is 450 in-lbs. If you need maximum torque, the regular M12 FUEL Impact Driver beats the SURGE by nearly 3X. If you need quieter, controlled fastening, SURGE wins.
Could this be used to polish small areas on my car’s paint?
No—using the M12 FUEL™ SURGE™ 1/4" Hex Impact Driver to polish car paint is not recommended. Using adapters on an impact driver for polishing is unsafe for paint finishes and not supported by Milwaukee.
How do you limit the amount of Torque when you are installing fasteners that can strip or break? Or driving screws into softer materials? Will a lighter trigger setting reduce the speed and torque?
To limit the torque on the Milwaukee M12 FUEL SURGE 12V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver, you can use its 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL feature. This allows you to adjust the output speed and power to suit your application, such as installing fasteners in softer materials or preventing stripping or breaking screws. Additionally, the Self-Tapping Screw Mode is specifically designed to reduce overdriving, breaking, and stripping screws, making it ideal for delicate tasks.
I have a hard time getting the batteries in and out. It's almost like they don't fit Any ideas? I also notice in my other tools its hard too
Are you squeezing the release tabs (on the tool itself)? They're not supposed to just fall out with the tabs depressed, though. Some effort should be required. You don't want them to just fall out, as the potential for damage from a 4' drop...no good.
