Q:Is it possible to partially recess the cabinet? The drain vent pipe is behind where I want to mount it and don't want to reroute that, so I'd like to recess it about 2 inches.

Defective
After 4 years the mirrored door came loose.
We came home one day recently to find the door fell across the room and smashed to smithereens. We are left with no cabinet door. The other one now does not close flush to the frame anymore - after 4 years of normal use. I want to contact the company and cannot find a phone number or address anywhere. Do not buy this brand. I hope someone will contact me.

At a glance, the overall appearance of the medicine cabinet is good. That being said, there are a number of flaws with this product. 1. The silver backing on the mirror doors is slowly flaking off cause a firring appearance on the edges of the doors., 2. In order to adjust the glass shelves post installation, you will need to remove the cabinet doors. As a result, you will need to be absolutely certain on the shelving placement before installing the doors., 3. Since one door is larger than the other, the weight of the larger door will misalign & will need to be adjusted over time. I suspect that over time I might need to replace this cabinet at some point. Overall if I would not recommend this product nor repurchase if given an option.

Love this cabinet, but after several years the large door just fell off for no reason. Luckily, it fell straight down onto the countertop and did not shatter. It can't be rehung, as it was simply glued onto the base (the door is very heavy and I don't trust it not to fall off again just using an adhesive). I can't believe the manufacturer would not use some sort of additional bracing to prevent this from happening.

The clarity of the mirrored glass is outstanding. When i open the cabinet the interior glass makes it look deeper than it is and the reflections remind me of a jewelry case at a department store. The soft close hinges work very well and the cabinet appears high end. Couldn't be happier.

Would love the product, if it wasn't damaged. Easy to install and love having mirrors inside the cabinet. Unfortunately the packaging seems inadequate as I received the product damaged. Glass shelves were stored inside smaller portion of mirror and must have shifted during shipment as frame was dented outward. Also a large dent on frame of opposite side of large mirror potion. And mirror back in large section has a scratch in it. Cannot be seen unless it's open, but so sad to have spent this kind of money on something that is not new looking and is damaged. Too much of a hassle to repack and return to wait another month to get new one as it was needed to complete the bathroom for immediate use.

Extra wide for larger sinks, this 36-inch mirrored medicine cabinet fit my master bath handsomely. I've been refreshing my 24-year old home and spotted this during a resent store visit. So when I saw it on sale, I purchased it.
I needed to install a new light fixture first which was part of my old medicine cabinet. That done, I installed the new cabinet. I was worried because of its weight (almost all glass). But, I removed the doors and the back was very easy to install by myself. Looking back, the bottom rail is stronger than I first imagined.
The doors stay open and are mirrored throughout. They softly self close too. Glass shelves make it even nicer. No cheap particle board to warp when wet from normal bathroom items.
Only con: special locking shelf clips a tad hard to remove if ever I need to adjust the shelf height. But they do serve a safety factor at not letting the shelf tip out (its glass!).
Otherwise, Love it!
