Does the adhesive become hard once cured, or is it somewhat rubbery?

it dries rubbery and sprays on very thin so depending on your project, you may want to apply a couple coats (2nd after 1st dries tacky). I used it to adhere a rubber seal/insulation onto my RV ramp.

I used the adhesive to attach pvc backed carpet tiles to a luan subfloor in my van. The product sets fast and doesn't allow for moving very easily once put into position. So far, the bond is good. I recommend working small sections at a time. I did one tile at a time. It's rather pricey, but the old adage holds true. You get what you pay for.

Motorcycle seat padding layers
Using layers of carpet padding (rebond) I built a beautiful seat that is comfortable and complimented by all that see it. The 80 worked perfectly for bonding the 8 or so layers, and for bonding the first layer to the fiberglass seat pan. I also used it to bond vinyl to the center section of the "tank".

So far #80 for rubber sticks very well!
I just bought #80-Rubber & vinyl Adhesive for some diamond-plate rubber that I am applying to specific areas of my Jeep. I'll check back after a few storms.

We needed elevator flooring that would take a beating in a busy auto parts shop and we needed little down time. Rubber garage flooring would do the trick, but it needed to be adhered to the floor. After calling the flooring manufacturer they recommended 3M Rubber & Vinyl 80 and said to try a hardware store. I used the store pickup option at HomeDepot.com and was able to get back and adhere the flooring the same day in just minutes. Fast and easy! Great product! I would recommend this product highly, and also the online store pickup!
