I think that it will depend on the way the sander hold the sand-paper. I don't believe it will work on a sander that requires adhesive backing, the way many orbital sanders do. On sanders with the little "clips" that hold the paper, these screens should work well. The fact that they are screens, they will allow the dust to suck through them, into the vacuum, and as I mentioned in my original thoughts on these screens, they seem to last almost forever, a huge advantage over the paper type.
