Does this putty stay pliable and easily removed and reusable?

Will mice eat it?
Asked by Goldie October 6, 2019No, I have never seen any evidence of mice eating in many years of using the fire putty. You could also contact the manufacturer technical department 800 number and ask them the same question.
Will this adhere to glass or ceramic? Will it catch fire if in contact with direct flame?
Asked by Nolagirl September 1, 2018Yes, it is some what sticky just like clay and should adhere to glass or ceramic just not sure how much pressure it would take t remove. No, it will not catch fire with direct flame otherwise it would not be listed as a fire barriers.

Asked by jn November 27, 2019I have not seen it it ny local Homedepot store however you can go to Home Depot.com and order. You can pick the fire stop at you local Hone Depot store with no shipping charges or have it delivered to your home.
Can this be used at a union in a wood burning stove to the flue pipe
