3M Professional Multi-Purpose Respirator with Drop-down feature is used for the removal of certain mold, lead and sprays from coatings and sealants. Featuring a balanced design for more comfort and sweptback cartridges for improved visibility, the 3M professional multi-purpose respirator with drop-down feature is designed and constructed for performance and comfort. Easy to use, comfortable and lightweight, the 3M professional multi-purpose respirator with drop-down feature is a great choice in respiratory protection for the professional.
  • For workplace/occupational applications only
  • Provides at least 99.97% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils
  • Exhalation valve cover for reduced fogging of eye protection
  • NIOSH approved: OV/AG/P100

                I use this everyday at work, spraying commercial adhesives and paints. I also use it while cutting fiberglass laminates, paneling and using paint thinners and cleaners. No more headaches, dizziness or blowing my nose and having look like a rainbow. This is an inexpensive way to protect your health. Remember the filters are not effective for ever or for everthing. Definitely contact 3M with questions, they have great customer service. The only feature I am not sold on is the drop down feature.

                This respirator is easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and does a great job filtering out dust and unpleasant odors. As someone with a smaller head size, I was pleased that the medium size fit me well and was fully adjustable for a snug-yet-comfy fit. I’m so happy with my purchase that I ordered a second one for my husband to wear in a larger size.

                If I could, I would give it ten stars.
                I bought this respirator from Home Depot after finding a size chart on the internet and deciding on a large. I made only minor adjustments to the straps for a perfect fit. I used the respirator, chemical splash safety goggles, and rubber gloves while applying three gallons of 30% vinegar as a weed killer in my backyard. I breathed fine and did not smell anything. I cleaned my sprayer and gloves before moving to the front yard and removing my respirator. Then I could smell vinegar. Great product!

                  I finally got a decent respirator for my work in my crawlspace. should have gotten the one with a full face mask / eye protection, but got this with goggles. the crawlspace is extremely dusty, probably with harmful stuff, and I never had any issues. I do wish there was a size chart. I bought a large, a bit too big, but it works ext. well.
