Does this product’s surface last any longer than the 3M Pro Grade Faster Sanding 80 grit sandpaper (on a reusable sanding sponge tool, used under similar conditions)? I ask because these are about 16 times the price of the sandpaper by area. Thanks.

What's better for preparing a wall for adhesive? A finer grade sand paper like this 180 or a rougher grade like a 80 sand paper?
Use 120 grit, 180 is too fine and 80 is too course.
Can You use these blocks for wet sanding?
Great Question. The sanding blocks can be rinsed cleaned to unload. Best to use when fully dry. If used wet the life of the sponge is shortened as it will break down quicker. Is the grit in this block made with diamonds
This sanding sponge has premium aluminum oxide/ceramic blended mineral material. While we do manufacture some products containing diamonds this is not one of them. Thanks for asking!
