A:  I feel you would have to be very careful so the paint doe not seep behind the tape. A textured surface could be a problem with any paint tape.

A:  I used it on concrete and it didn't stick well. I can't answer about Frog Tape, but I'd try it on concrete instead next time!

A:  It's not good for textured. The paint will work it's way under the tape. I tried frog tape on my textured walls also and got the same results, it just costs more. I used caulking on the line I wanted straight. When the caulking dried I taped over it with blue tape and got my straight line.

A:  It depends on the texture. I have used it on sand textures and it worked but any texture over that you should text a section. I use an old gift card to run down the tape to seal the edges. I find very little difference between this an frog tape. This is a little cheaper than frog tape.

A:  You don’t need to do anything that’s why you are using this tape. It presents this problem

A:  When removing tape pull at an angle away from the painted surface and you should get a clean line. Also remove tape soon after the paint has dried to touch. Hope this helps and good luck.

A:  Let the fresh paint cure for several days to minimize lifting. It will not pull off if the paint has good adhesion, meaning the surface was properly prepared (scraped, sanded and cleaned) before using the tape.

A:  This painter's tape will not damage and remove paint from an already dry painted surface.
