The flat offset plug takes up less depth from the wall than the standard 3 prong grounded plug, so it solved the problem of the microwave oven protruding out of its niche. Also, the off switch to the cord allows me to power off the oven to save the lightbulb and electricity when I leave the door open to dry it out, and when the electric rates go up during peak usage hours. Problems solved.

Fine basic product
This is a very fine outlet power strip. With six outlets, it can be used for many purposes. The quality seems to be fine and durable. This is not a surge protect outlet power strip: it simply has a "reset" switch. It is nonetheless a welcome feature as it allows to reboot the uncooperative modem or to light up/off the Christmas tree. At this price, there is no hesitation.

Good Quality & Great Price
We had too many plugs and not enough outlets in a certain area of our bedroom. I bought this at my local HD. The power strip and cord both feel sturdy. Overall it appears to be a good quality product. The right angle plug gives a neat clean appearance. The price is great but be aware that this is not a surge protector.
