It is approx. 11ft AROUND. Pi * 42" = 131.88". Dividing that by 12, gets you 10.99 feet.

I had it for six days, never had a fire in it and it began to fall apart...it was chipping and pealing apart at the sides...I would not recommend this pit to anyone ...thankfully,home depot being the wonderful company that it is, they took care of me and let me return it....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy so far! We had been looking for a good option that had the rustic/stone look, but with a bowl insert instead of something we'd need to permanently install. Everything arrived for store pick up in great condition. The blocks are very light as advertised and leave a bit of chalky residue on hands etc., but once set up, they look great and seem like they'll last. I can't attest to the bowl and how long it will last without rusting, but we purchased an expensive steel pit topper that should keep water out and hopefully prolong the life of it. We plan on storing the domed cover out of the elements since that will rust quickly. I really like the fact that everything could be easily moved if necessary. Also wanted to point out that a competing store has this same fire pit for $100 more, so great price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rust problem We installed this fire pit and like it for our small backyard but we were not aware that it came with a fire bowl insert. We were expecting a metal ring inside the bricks. This is our own fault for not reading the details carefully enough. We have made two fires and have been dumping the ash out after it is cold and inverting the bowl over the pit with the screen underneath to avoid catching rain water and rusting. As it is, the fire ate away the paint from the bottom of the bowl has already started rusting after just a month.To be fair, this if Oregon I am talking about and we have a lot of rain. But We probably would have made a different choice if we had known all of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed The fire pit arrived tightly packed in a custom pallet. Everything was in good shape and as expected. Unpacking was only challenging due to the strong plastic wrap holding the pit together for transport. The blocks are light and well made. My 10 and 13 year old sons helped me set up the pit in literally minutes after we got past the pack job. I would recommend a bed of level sand as your base before setup. It makes it very easy to get all the blocks level. Using the bowl not only makes it looks nice but helps to hold the shape of the ring of blocks. We have used it once so far and it was an excellent experience. The blocks stay cool, the bowl, while only 5” deep, holds enough wood for a nice hot fire. We used it without the spark screen due to the wood we burned and th distance from our house and deck. Some folks have mentioned that the bowl rusts. We have purchased a 42” waterproof cover to protect the screen and bowl from the elements as well as to keep water out. We have also leaned that the newer pits come with a pit that has a strong reputation coating. Lastly, we had a few additional questions about the usage of the pit, so we posted to Four Seasons’ Facebook page. The owners responded within 36 hours. They even gave me a phone number to call them to ask additional questions. They could not have been nicer. They seem to have a good focus on customer service and even gave me a price for replacement blocks and information on a soon-to-be-released ring for the pit. We hope to get many years out of this fire pit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great fire pit I bought this in preparation for my house warming party. It was exactly what i wanted. It is very durable and easy to put together. I do advise to use some landscape adisive to make sure it all stays in place. Overall very haplpy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I don't understand why there are not holes drilled at the bottom of the bowl to let any rain wate... I don't understand why there are not holes drilled at the bottom of the bowl to let any rain water go right through then it would not rust out for years. I did it to my old round iron one and it lasted 10 years. I'm going to to it with this one as well when I get it this fall.
