Add tensile strength to a concrete slab and improve its crack resistance while using this Deacero 42 in. x 84 in. Sheared Welded Steel Wire Remesh sheet. Concrete has extremely high compression strength but is very weak in tensile strength. To compensate for this weakness, welded wire reinforcing mesh is embedded in concrete to add tensile strength and reinforce concrete. The 42 in. x 84 in. Sheared Welded Steel Remesh Sheets are convenient to use and ideal for smaller projects requiring concrete reinforcement. Panels are easy to handle and transport.

            concrete mesh pad
To all the people complaining about the product being rusty. They are steel and will rust when moisture gets to them. They are used to strengthen concrete, not to sit pretty in your garden as a tomato holder, to block deer, or used to grow vines and flowers on, THEY WILL RUST, use the correct material! I used them to reinforce my concrete oad and they worked great!

This product is made for installing in a slab of concrete
It’s not galvanized and isnt supposed to be so for those complaining that its rusty thats what metal does when its not treated! If you want it to be for something else other than for in a slab don’t buy the product! It works great in a slab!

                Does its job
The mat material was fairly rigid for its diameter so it sat od dobie blocks well. My gripe is the "weld" of where the wires intersect each other would just pop apart. So, whole rows of wire just came off as i was setting it in the form. It does the job but will not stand up to much handling.
