no instructions on how to use it!

Asked by: Skip
This, my friend, is where you may be mistaken. If you buy the 5 reagents & testing tube that comes in a plastic box packaging, there is an instruction booklet that comes with it.

What is the chlorine test of? Total, combined, or free? Thanks

Asked by: Al
The number associated with the initial color is the "free chlorine" (rated in Parts per million). My understanding is that if you wait 2 minutes and check the color, the resultant color represents the total chlorine. I've never had any problems by using the free chlorine indicator at the beginning.
