Unknown. The label states it is "Made in China" distributed by Home Depot. So, don't eat it!! But very strong pole to extend your reach by 5'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a pole....a metal pole! Simple and easy. I needed... It's a pole....a metal pole! Simple and easy. I needed a sturdy pole for painting. Thought about the extendable poles but there was too much movement in the pieces that I didn't like. Having a solid single pole for rolling paint allows more control & it's better than some of the flexible wood poles.

Not being a pro I don't need an adjustable version. This is good for walls and ceilings on average homes. Just used it on a deck so I didn't have to crawl around. Strong and lightweight with no splinters. A good cheap investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 5 ft. Steel Single Pole hits the mark on... The 5 ft. Steel Single Pole hits the mark on all counts. Not only is it 5 ft., it is also made of steel! Add to that the fact it is a pole and there's exactly one of them as advertised and you've got a real winner on your hands. Not sure why there's a threaded plastic cap on one end though...

They sell a shorter aluminum replacement handle where push brooms are stocked. I bought the one in the broom aisle and it is shorter than this one and uncomfortable to use if you are taller. I found this one in the paint dept.

Longer then a regular pole it reached farther and was less bendable. I gave it four stars because it was loose on the roller... could be the roller issue, and not the pole. The pole is well constructed. You'll really like the extra reach!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I picked this up with interior paint for the whole... I picked this up with interior paint for the whole house and it performed perfect. I had older wooden poles that flex a bit to much, so time for new one. It is the perfect size, as no ladder needed for ceiling work.Buy one and test it yourself.
