5 gal. Tintable Cool Pool Deck Coating

First, I'm very happy with the product. My deck turned out absolutely wonderful. That said, despite watching every video and making sure I understood the process in it's entirety, there there were still several learnings. First, don't just measure the deck once or twice, do it several times - make sure you know exactly the area needed. I did not and didn't order enough product up front. Blessedly I figured it out really quickly while cleaning the deck so I was able to pause the process to wait for additional kits. Although I thought I then ordered enough kits to per the yield information - it still wasn't enough product. If you are covering a different color - especially a dark cover - add at least an extra kit to your order. I thought I needed three kits per the measurements and published yields - I really needed four (25% extra) as I was covering a dark pool deck. I was able to s-t-r-e-t-c-h that second coat but there are areas that didn't quite get the truly thick coat and reapply needed. The stretched areas are not obvious, but the perfectionist in me is a bit disappointed. That said, the deck still looks fantastic as a whole and so much better than the original Koolkote. Customizing the color with a chosen paint color is the only way to go. The SealBack final step is a must-do. It really added the exclamation mark to the whole project. The deck has sparkly, glossy sheen and the water does indeed bead up. Overall the process was a lot of sweat equity but a very straightforward process - much like painting walls. Make sure the pool deck surface is intact, clean, and tape off edges and corners with heavy duty painters tape before starting. Before rolling, I cut the product around the coping and edges and then rolled the surface - laying down the product was quite quick and easy. The prep was the heavy lifting. Overall I'm very pleased with the product and the process. It saved me quite a bit doing it myself rather than going my pool company - win!!

It works great, you just have to buy alot of it to get your pool deck done right with 2 coats, my deck looks amazing though!

Amazing Product. Prep work is key. Customer support was the best in helping us transform our pool deck which was gritty, cracked, and looked terrible. Our pool deck now looks better than brand new poured concrete. My deck looks amazing and I did the whole job by myself. (My husband didn’t think it was possible) With some guidance from the cool guys. They walked me through every question I had. I’m so happy with this product.

I have installed this product on numerous pool decks. It has never ceased to amaze me at how easy it is to apply. If you follow the directions, you too can apply like a pro. I recommend that before you start, review all their videos. They will save you time and money.

Just FOLLOW the instructions and this product is EASY to install. I recently asked for 3 estimates from contractors and the prices were to HIGH.Some contractors had a small guarantee and some had none. COOL HAS LIFETIME. THAT SOLD ME ! AWESOME PRODUCT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT

Fantastic Product. We put it over both aggregate & smooth cement. It looks great! However, if you look closely, the product wasn’t able to get between some stones due to the thickness of the product. We used a paint brush many places, and attempted to fill the holes. Triple Crown cleaned the patio very well (don’t get it on brick). The Sealer is beautiful!
