Can your zeolite be used for human consumption?

    Answer This Question

It claims to be organic and I have been taking a teaspoon a day, although it is like granular chalk and using a mortar and pestle to make it a fine powder would be suggested.

I would also like to know those what a great deal if it was safe for him and consumption. I am paying over $100 for a small bottle every month to detox from heavy metals.

Can this be used in koi ponds to reduce ammonia?
        ByApr 5, 2023

        Answer This Question

This product is designed as a soil amendment to absorb water and nutrients, detoxify plant roots, and reduce mineral leaching. While it can absorb ammonia in soil, its effectiveness in a koi pond environment isn't specified. For targeted ammonia reduction in ponds, consider products specifically designed for aquatic environments.

What's the particle size of this zeolite? It doesn't seem to be listed anywhere. I'm hoping it's 1/4" or smaller.

Have a wool rug a cat kept peeing on. Tried pet enzyme process which failed spectacularly. Sprinkled Zeolite heavily on rug, rolled it up, let it sit a few weeks, unrolled it and vacuumed it off. Smell was gone and cat never went on the rug again.

                Good stuff
This stuff was affordable and the right size for my use with succulent/cacti soils. It's a smaller grain size, like crushed gravel or coarse sand. More surface area means more nutrient and water absorption

This is not Zeolite. I suspect it is some type of small gravel bits? ... No clue.

I thought I was buying a supplement to add water absorption to my potting mix, but this was the consistency of sand and not what I expected.
