Q:How do you put a razor blade in a Stanley box cutter

Answer This Question

A:  You push the black bottom on the opposite side through the hole. It moves out of the way and allows you to swivel the knife open. The two halfs are held together with the center circle rivet. You can store extra blades in the handle there is a spot for that. Simply lift the old blade off the exposed tray, set new blade on the tray and close the tool. Push the black button back in place and you are all done. You may need to have the blade all the way in or out to swivel the tool open.

A:  You have to push the blade advance button on the top all the way out, push the black button in the back of the handle and rotate it down to access the blade holder, and spare holder.

    A:  Slide blade to full extension. Press the black tab at rear to unlock. Twist on center pivot.

    A:  Any Fresh retractable blade will cut through a screen. Don’t buy this one. You won’t be able to get the blade to slide out in a fit of panic. Go with the Milwaukee knife. It flips open and won’t fail you. This knife is garbage.

                light and comfortable
                I have this Knife since 1997, I use it at home, the very comfortable one for cuts, light and resistant, I had another that I used in my work, I work in remodeling and I laid down the heavy work, too bad I lost it I recommend it

                  Awesome and rugged
                  I've had this knife for over 10 years and I have beat the heck out it and it is still going strong. Don't understand how others have rated this so poorly. I would by this again!

                      could not open there was a problem with casting had...
                      could not open there was a problem with casting had to file areas down so it would work. The blade also did not won't to move forward all the way

                      GREAT UTILITY KNIFE
                      I bought one of these years ago and it has served me well. I needed another and had trouble finding one locally. I had to order it online. The blade storage is a plus and is easy to access. The handle is the right size to have good control of the knife. All in all, a great tool to have on hand when you need it.
