About This Product

Glass is the clear choice for many household projects such as tabletops, picture frames, shelving, and furniture surface protectors to name a few. Aside from being distortion-free, glass gives a more distinguished aesthetic look unlike polycarbonate which is prone to yellowing overtime by UV rays. Unlike plastic glass does not scratch as easily. Glass can be cut to size with ease, is extremely versatile, and simple to clean. Glass can withstand most environments both inside and outside and can last a lifetime as it is durable and resilient.

    not a good product
I bought several of these. in fact I have purchased this product in the past, but in this case I bought a handful all at once. when I got home, I removed the packaging from one of them. the glass felt like it had over spray or something on it. I took some windex and sprayed the glass and then used a straight edge razor to clean the tape residue off the glass and then ran the blade over the entire surface to get whatever was there off. I then dried the glass and the feeling of over spray never went away. never even got better. when you hold the glass up to the light, it looks like it has fiberglass fibers all over it. I'm guess this is either micro cracks or something in their manufacturing like molten glass that has settled onto each of the sheets and cooled. these will be returned today

Does what it is supposed to do.
It's a small piece of glass that does what it's supposed to do (be glass) worked well as a 3d printing bed for a really cheap price, beats spending $14 on other bed that won't last nearly as long and won't give the same flat surface.

      Packaging is an absolute joke
This is the most frustrating item I’ve ever attempted to open. Glued across the top and bottom . I am afraid I’m going to snap the glass trying to pull the cardboard off. 20 minutes in and I have undid one of the glue strips. Glass does fit perfectly and looks nice, which is good because I could’ve just made my own glass from a bucket of sand and a torch in the amount of time it took me to open this

Buy goo gone too to remove the glue
The glass panels ship in a protective carboard sleeve. Sleeve is glued onto glass face. Make sure to have GooGone on your Depot list if you don’t have it at home. Apply googone, wait 5 minutes, wipe off goo gone, wipe down with glass cleaner. Good to go! Then head to your thrift store for empty frames.

I bought 10 sheets of glass for a craft project. These are clear, easy to cut and works well with glass paint. I put these into a kiln to fire the outline of my artwork, then use glass paint. This is not a typical use, however, the cost is less than ordering from a stained glass supplier. I will certainly purchase more in the near future. I supplied a photo of my artwork.

This is a simple thing, that hardly warrants a review...the amazing thing is that they stow it in a very non-conspicuous location, they even had broken glass for sale to...LOL. If your looking for a small piece of plain glass you're in luck! 24x24 is about the biggest size they stocked in the store. This is also something that I don't get! Why are not the glass cutters, Glazing Compound, and wooden dowels also stocked there as well? No, you have to run all over the story to find the other essential items needed!!! At a minimum, they should have a listing posted that directs you to where you would find the other items...Might also be a good thing to post a similar list at the glass cutters in the tool isle also!

I appreciate that Home Depot carried replacement glass for picture frames! It did have a very small chip on one corner, but it was covered up by the frame.
