Q:Is this a quit unit Does it have a fifty amp plug
by|Jun 7, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Hello Joey, To answer your question - does our GXS7600iRD have a 50A outlet? Sorry but no it does not. Its two higher output outlets are 1) 120V AC, 30A Twist Lock Outlet, Single Phase,60Hz Outlet (NEMA L5-30R): This receptacle can provide 120 volt output up to 30 amps. 2) 120/240V AC, 30A Twist Lock, Single Phase, 60Hz Outlet (NEMA L14-30R): supply either 120 Volt or 240 Volt output up to 30 amps. This unit does come standard with a 30-Amp RV Power Adapter L5-30R to TT-30R plug. Be aware, if you do require a 50A outlet, there are many adaptors available on secondary market for L14-30 (which the GXS7600iRD has) to 14-50R Adapter Cord, 30Amp Generator Male to 50Amp Dryer Female Adapter. Or - please know many of our products do have a 14-50R outlet standard such as out GXS11300R, SUA12000E, SUA13000EFI. Hope this helps, A-iPower

Q:Does RPM vary depending on load?
    by|Jun 3, 2024
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Hello Jess, To answer your question if the GXS7600iRD varies its RPM depending on load - Yes, it does. Unlike regular portable generators that run just like a lawn mower at a steady 3600RPM, the GXS7600iRD is an inverter generator. This allows it to more smartly manage engine speed/RPM based on demand when the low idle switch in turned ON. Rather than run at a constant 3600, the RPMs will drop significantly based on demand. This saves fuel, extends run times, offers quieter operation (not only due to lower operating speeds but also due to an inverter generator is smaller (since you no longer have the standard alternator) allowing it to be in a smaller insulated housing) and are lighter. These are smart machines! Hope this helps - A-iPower, Milwaukee

Q:Joe- in comparing the SUA4300 and GXS4300 dual fuel models; what is the main difference? Sound, power, run time and features. Are rhey essentially the same? aipower website states SUA4300 62DB and GXS 52DB

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello AMTexas, Good questions - RE: dB Ratings - we get lots of interest in this important variable / buying feature. As you see - we have wide ranges which occur when testing performed by outside labs vs. retailers vs. internal factory testing, etc. We test to SAE standards which qualify 7M / 22' and at 25% load but the requirements stop there depending on test source. Sound is affected by ambient noise, how much output being absorbed by immediate environment, how accurate testing equipment is, etc. We try to standardize this as much as possible but testing labs (specified by some retailers) may take different tact. As a result - we do have variations. I know this is not very helpful but measuring sound is not exact such as determining HP of engine using a dyno. Couple this with the sound being subjective / based on user - and we have what I see in our reviews: 7 people tell us "...this GXS4300i is a quiet inverter!" vs. 2 that say it sounds "loud!" (this has happened in the last week!). RE: SUA4300 vs. GXS4300i - another good question/observation. As noted earlier - retailers like exclusivity but we also have a very good following with our SUA line-up which has been around a # of years. As a result - we've reintroduced the SUA models to many segments where specs and options are mostly the same. This is done all the time in the auto industry as mentioned in a post just earlier this week where the new Toyota Supra is nearly same as BMW model both made by BMW. Hope this helps in some way AMTexas? Cheers, Joe - A-iPower Milwaukee

Q:Does this have over load protection?
        by|May 22, 2024
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  Hello Kenny, To answer your question - does the A-iPower GXS7600iRD have over load protection? Yes - it does. On the control panel, you have two push button circuit breakers. Similar to overloading a standard household outlet - if too much power is routed to an outlet, a breaker will trip. Function will be restored by removing excess demand and resetting circuit breaker. This GXS7600iRD behaves the exact same way. We hope this helps. A-iPower - Milwaukee

GXS7600iRD is the best inverter I’ve ever owned!
I received shipment within 3 days of ordering. It’s incredibly stout and seems built to last. Using screw in funnel, I filled the engine with oil and then added gasoline and hooked up a propane tank. Electric start with remote is super handy and started right out of the box. The engineers developed fuel sense technology allowing the unit to run forever. It automatically switches from propane to gas without having to touch the unit. This new multi fuel feature allows me to operate twice as long as my loud and bulky generator.

I got a lemon. Died 15 minutes after use.
It is too bad that the machine I received only lasted a few minutes. This generator (inverter) is bristling with features. Remote start, seamless dual fuel transition, and lots of output choices. But for me the excitement lasted just a few minutes after firing it up the first time. The CO sensor began to flash yellow and then it shut down. I spoke with the A-ipower tech support who re-walked through the steps. Again it ran for a few minutes, started flashing yellow, and shut down. He suspected the CO sensor had become defective in transit….he said it happens once in a while. They said they would send out a replacement part (2-day air) for me to swap it out. It’s been a week now and no communication from A-ipower. I suspect I need to chase it down with them. I was willing to give the product a second chance now I feel like I fell through the cracks. I have to give them a “D” grade.

            Quiet and Powerful!
It's so Quiet!! I have an older 5000 watt generator that works, but is extremely loud, this thing you can easily talk over at idle and doesn't get much louder even under load. Easy quick start procedure and easy to operate once you read the quick start guide. I hooked up my 1.5 hp table saw and a 5 hp shopvac to the 20 a outlet and it was able to easily power both! There was a very slight lag in power when I turned the table saw on due to the rev up of the engine to match the load, but very minimal and only was noticeable due to me being familiar with how the saw runs on grid power.

            7600-Watt Inverter Generator
This 7600-Watt Inverter Generator with its 322cc OHV Engine is HEAVY. Fortunately, it has wheels and a handle for easy mobility once it’s out of the box. However, you will need a hand cart to move it from the porch. It has a fob for remote starting plus on-generator push-button and recoil starting capabilities. I specifically liked that it uses propane by default, then fails over to gasoline when the propane runs out. This is a nice feature when you need to change gas cylinders. It came with all the pieces including extra tools. Other than adding oil (included), no assembly is required. HINT: Read carefully about the dangers of the motor’s toxic exhaust and combustible fuel.

                Great Generator! Very Quite!
6100 running watts on gas, 5500 running watts on propane. Enough Power to run AC and appliances in my RV. Love the feature of fuel sense technology. It seamlessly and automatically switches back/forth between gas and propane. Other features also awesome, such as remote start, 120/240v selector switch, integrated handle and wheels. Tons of useful accessories: remote control key, battery float charger (to charge as volume gets low), 30 A RV adapter...etc. Highly recommend it!

Great Back-Up Power For My House
I needed a generator to back up my home when the power goes out, however, I didn't want a noisy one like my neighbors. I did some research and decided an inverter generator was right for me. This A-iPower inverter is more powerful than most and has enough juice to handle all my homes power needs. It arrived in good condition and was an easy set up. Just add the oil and gasoline. It's dual fuel so I'll likely run mostly propane as I have several cylinders at my home for my grill and patio heaters. Gas will be a good backup if the propane runs empty...it automatically switches fuel. It also comes with an electric remote start.
