      We purchased two 8 x 10 awnings to go over two windows that are south facing on our house. The sun was just beating down on that side for years…so we installed the two awnings recently and what a difference. We chose ones with the hand crank. They are easily cranked open, slight closed or all the way closed if super windy. It changed the entire look of that side of our house, protects our siding now from the glaring south facing sun and provides much needed shade to our plants.
