About This Product
The extended roof brace is used to help support the chimney where it extends more than 5 ft. above the roof. Legs adjust from 65 in. to 130 in. and pivot at the ring and brackets to fit any roof pitch. An extended roof brace or other support must be used for every 5 ft. of chimney above the roof (if your chimney extends 12 ft. above your roof you need 2 roof support braces). Note: Extended Roof Brace does not support the weight of the chimney. It supports the lateral movement only.

The extended roof brace is used to help support the chimney where it extends more than 5 ft. above the roof. DVL double-wall stovepipe completes the venting system when used with one of Duravent's chimney products, such as DuraTech, DuraPlus, or DuraPlus HTC. DVL's double-wall, air-insulated design reduces clearances to combustibles from 18 in. to 6 in., the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. DVL improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft. Because the inner wall is stainless steel, the flue heats up faster, stays hot longer, minimizes the formation of creosote, and has the same life expectancy as the chimney. DuraPlus All-Fuel Chimney 6in. X 36in. Diameter Chimney Pipe
The DuraPlus system from Duravent is designed to stay cool on the outside, provide a hot draft on the inside and boost stove efficiency, offering a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and building. This Triple-Wall Chimney Stove Pipe features 2-insulating layers consisting of a ceramic blanket plus air space. The ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible blanket insulation permits the chimney liner to expand outwardly in a radial direction. Designed for normal, continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, DuraPlus is subjected to rigorous and stringent HT requirements of the UL standard, including 1-hour at 1400°F, plus three 10-minute chimney fire tests at 2100°F.
