Thank you for showing interest in the 24” Tahoe Blaze gas log set. The dimensions of the burner pan on a Manual Safety Pilot Kit unit is 25.5” end to end. This burner sits under the grate which is 20.5” end to end. The logs will sit on the grate and are approximately 24” wide. I hope this answers your questions.
Thank you for your interest in our gas logs. Unfortunately, this log set does not come with a remote control. Home Depot does offer a unit with a variable remote receiver; however, it does not automatically start your unit unless the pilot is already on.
Thank you for your interest in this gas log unit. If you are interested in getting a match lit unit, Home Depot offers the Dundee Oak and the Cheyenne Glow in match lite options
Thank you for your interest in the Tahoe Blaze. This unit comes with a ‘log switch’ allowing you to turn on and off your unit once the pilot is lit. You will first need to light the pilot with a match/lighter and then turn the knob to the ‘on’ position. Then you can control the gas log set using the log-switch
Thank you for your interest in our gas logs. The minimum opening required for a 30” log set is 42”. This is to allow for proper ventilation around the valve.
Thank you for your interest in this gas log unit. This gas log does come with an ‘H’ burner. The G45 is a reference name for a different product. The typical gas inlet is on the right side of the firebox, and therefore valve systems are installed to accommodate. In the event that the gas connection is on the left, you can purchase a connector and additional flex line from Home Depot and run the gas line across the back of the firebox, behind the burner pan.
Exact issue I had to deal with. Do NOT attempt to unscrew any fittings...instead buy a longer gas line (just like the 12" black tube they provided) and run it form left to right. Make sure the gas tube you purchase can handle 74,000 btu. I found a 48" length tube that can handle 125,000 btu. It run the length of the fireplace behind the logs. Make sure you curve them and not crimp them when installing
The burners supplied with all of our vented log sets and not manufactured out of stainless and therefore are intended for indoor use. If you are interested in an outdoor set, feel free to contact us.
