20 in. Black Low Profile Flush Mount LED with Remote and APP Smart Control Indoor Ceiling Fan with Dimmable Lighting

We bought this to install in our nursery. It seemed wonderful the day we installed it, then night came. The light becomes a night light at night. If you leave the fan on and turn the light off the light is in night light mode. So the room won’t be completely dark, which is not good for sleeping, especially for babies. They should have advertised that the light doesn’t turn all the way off unless you flip the switch and turn off both the light and fan.

Would not recommend…. Was in my kitchen talking to my neighbor and fan blade snapped almost hitting my neighbor. Very dangerous situation .

Easy to in stall and works great

Looks quite nice and modern. Controllable via app and the remote. However, it's noisier than your typical ceiling fan even at the lowest setting. I'd have preferred an even lower speed setting with less noise. It has basically similar noise level to that of a standalone fan which just happens to be mounted on the ceiling. The light feature is very nice. My final complaint is that the paint was applied poorly and not uniformly, leaving some of the metal dark.

I installed this Antoine 20 inch Black Low Profile Flush Mount Fan in our master bedroom. Our master bedroom is an addition done by the previous owner. The ceiling is rather low and has a slight slope. A traditional ceiling fan would be too low and a ceiling hugger would not work. This fan is not made for sloped ceilings but I decided to give it a try since the slope is minimal. This fan is light weight. The ceiling bracket makes installation super easy. The LED lights have good output. They are dimmable and you can change the white light. Despite the small size, this fan moves a lot of air. Despite our slightly sloped ceiling, this fan worked perfectly and had no wobble. The fan was up for a little over a week then at the wife's request, I took it done. Her issue was that the plastic blades look cheap and while we love the performance, it just didn't compliment our bedroom décor whatsoever. I nonetheless think this is a great fan if you find the right space or it.

I got this for a Bathroom (which has no Exhaust Fan), to move the air around and dry things out quicker to prevent mold. The Remote has a nice feature of 1hr and 2hr Timer. I can run the fan when I am done showering, and have it turn Off in an hour or two. Things worth noting ... it claims to be a 20" Fan, but that dimension is the size of the fixture. The fans blades are only 15.5" (which makes its Energy Guide comparison [listed on the Home Depot website] wrong, because it is being compared to Fans 19" to 63" [also, being a Brushless DC Motor, I would expect the energy use to be much lower; maybe the linked Energy Guide is for a different product?]). The fan being semi-enclosed, the air flow is much more directed, than most Ceiling Fans. Standing underneath it, on 6 (which is Highest), is very windy. The positives ... being almost all plastic, I doubt you can find a Ceiling Fan that weighs less. It weighs less than the glass fixture I replaced. Being preassembled, and low weight, makes it easy to hang and no need for a Ceiling Fan Rated Electrical Box. Also, hard to find a Ceiling Fan that hugs the ceiling so closely. Its profile is less than 7". DC Motors are much more energy efficient, than AC (they typically use about 1/3 the power). The negatives ... looks plastic. You need to pair it with the App within 5 Seconds of the power being turned On; which is fine, if it is on a light switch, but mine is on the breaker. No way I can get up from the basement in 5 seconds. I have Bond, which makes Fans Smart, but I can not get the remote to pair with Bond (never have had that happen before?!?!). The remote works fine otherwise (it is 2.4G and does not need to be in direct line of sight). Although it should be Smart, mine is just Remote Controlled. Bottom line ... If you have a very small room, with a low ceiling, this should work great.

When it arrived, the box felt impossibly light and small—especially for a ceiling fixture that arrives fully assembled. Extensive use of plastic and the smallest fan motor I’ve ever seen help keep the weight down, which was very helpful. A low profile mount makes this suitable for moderate height ceilings, but this cannot be used with sloped ceilings. Installation appeared to be simplicity itself, but was complicated by my inability to fit my hand in to hold screws to secure the canopy to the ceiling. The effort took two people on a ladder – one to support the fan and the other to drive the screws, and even then, was an exercise in frustration. A magnetic tipped screwdriver would be an invaluable aid to installation. The installation kit came with cotton gloves and 5 each of canopy screws, washers, and wood screws, though lacked the machine screws to secure the mounting hardware to the electrical box, and omitted any mention of where to use the wood screws or washers in the installation instructions. (I assumed the washers went behind the canopy screws.) Also not included were the required pair of AAA batteries for the remote control. In use, the light is moderately bright (estimated 1000 lumen), can be adjusted for brightness and light temperature, and these settings are retained even if the fixture is turned off with a conventional switch. The fan is quiet and wobble-free, even at the higher settings, but the remote control is necessary to make fan adjustments. Fan settings do not persist through a hard switch power-off. The instructions warn that the “fan reverse” button should only be used when the fan is at a complete stop, but my experience is that it ONLY worked when pressed while the fan was rotating. In this case it gradually slowed, paused for a moment while stopped, then came up to speed in the opposite direction. This setting was also not persistent – if the fan was turned off, either at the switch or the remote control, when turned on again would always resume blowing air downward. Ambiguity in the instructions made it more difficult than it should have been to connect the fan with an app on my cell phone, but once successful, control from the phone worked fine. After that, though, there doesn’t seem to be any way to integrate this device into my smart home ecosystem, nor control it from a smart speaker, making the “smart” claim for this fan to be more aspirational than fact. The app and any related skill could be upgraded at any time, so it’s possible that this ability may yet arrive. Support for this product is available only via email through a gmail account, which didn’t leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. I’m feeling even less warm and fuzzy since the questions I directed there have so far been ignored. In the event of a lemon, Home Depot’s excellent return policy remains your best protection.

This fan has a unique design, with the lights on the outer circle instead of in the middle. It's a modern look and it moves quite a bit of air. The light is dimmable and the color temperature can be changed from warm white (3000) to daylight (6500). The instructions say it's not compatible with a sloped ceiling, but we had a flat mounting box at the top of our vault ceiling and was able to install it. Installation was a bit tricky as it doesn't use a standard fan mount - instead it uses a metal bracket, similar to some lights. This means I had to hold the fan in my hand (or use an S hook) when connecting the two wires. To keep the fan sturdy, flush with the ceiling and stop it from wobbling, I had to add 4 screws to each end of the mounting bracket. Since I was mounting it to a fan box, I could just screw them into the box, but if mounting on drywall one would need to use drywall anchors. The remote control comes with a wall mount bracket and screws to attach it to the wall. The 2 AAA batteries are not included. The fan can be controlled from a smartphone with the FanLamp Pro app. The fan was easy to pair to the app (have to do it within 5 seconds of powering the fan) and it uses a Bluetooth connection. The nice thing is that the app will work without an internet connection and all the data stays on the phone. There is no account to setup, which means there's no integration with any other smart home platform (bummer).

The Antone Ceiling Fan with Lights sold by The Home Depot is a good product! It is a modern design and low profile for use in tight areas. I really like the how light weight and powerful this fan is. I also like the versatile of the remote controls. From the dimmability of the LED lights to the multiple fan speeds, it really is an excellent unit. In addition, the instructions are good and this comes with everything you need for a successful install. The only negative comment I have is it would have been better if the main connection wire length could ha been a little longer but still doable.
