Although a lovely looking fixture, it doesn't provide the heat I had hoped for. The bars do get very warm, but not too hot. I've tried leaving it on in the hope that the towels would get "fresh from the dryer" hot, but to no avail. I would not recommend this product if that is what you're searching for. Go for a more expensive version. As mine is hardwired, I won't be able to switch it out and the warmth level will have to suffice.

          color issue
Very dissappointed in the color described as oil rubbed bronze. This is nothing like the typical oil rubbed bronze. Returning it since it does not match my other bath fixtures by Delta which are a true oil rubbed bronze.

            Luxury and warmth
My bathroom is nice and spacious, but it's very cold so I added this towel warmer/dryer to make it more cozy (excuse bland wall color in pics - I'm mid-reno). Warmed towels make getting out of the shower so much more pleasant and wrapping up in a heated towel is the absolute best!! This warmer looks great and heats up pretty fast - at about the same speed as a curling iron (not as hot). I plan to hardwire this when I get to the electrical portion of my reno, but for now it is soft-wired (plug-in). The cord is a bit bulky looking but long enough to reach an outlet far enough away to keep the rack's distance from any water source. For installation, I only needed a tape measure, level, pencil, and screwdriver. As long as you measure correctly, installation is simple. But the installation instructions were initially somewhat confusing because there were additional steps included that were not necessary for my unit and the picture examples were tiny and blurry. Also, there were no operating instructions included at all, but I still highly recommend reading the rest of the instructions in full. I finally figured out that you have to manually push in the clear bubble (feels awkward) on the bottom right rail until the red light comes on (see pic). A normal switch on the unit would be much more user-friendly. If hard wiring this, it might be best attached directly to a switch (FYI there is no info regarding dimmer compatibility). Using a licensed electrician is probably wise unless you intend to use plug-in only. Aside from the instruction issues, this warmer will make you look forward to bath time even that much more and is especially great for those quick showers when the room hasn't had time to heat up.

Works well. Easy to assemble and install. A worthwhile addition to any bathroom.
This warmer rack from Anzzi adds 5-star luxury to the bathroom. There’s nothing quite like stepping out of the bath or shower and wrapping yourself in a thick, warm, towel. This towel warmer features four evenly-spaced bowfront towel rails, and is constructed of rust-resistant stainless steel finished in polished chrome. The relatively small size of this heated towel rack allows it to be installed in just about any bathroom, but you will need to mount it in close proximity to a 120-volt electrical outlet operating on 15A, or if one is not present, you will need to install one. The warmer rack is corded. The cord extends out of the lower portion on the right side of the rack and is approximately 6-feet in length. Since the rack doesn’t operate on a timer, to avoid the towel rack being left on and using electricity when not in use, I wired half the receptacle so that it operates by a light switch. Alternatively, you also could install a timer. The rack takes about 20 minutes to heat fully. All four rails heat evenly and are warm to the touch, but not hot enough to burn skin. This size rack holds up to 2 bath towels folded over the top rail and allowed to cascade over the lower 3 rails. Only the portion of towel that comes in contact with the rails is warmed, so if you hang the towel on the lowest rail, it won’t be fully warmed. Damp towels dry faster than air alone and don’t develop a mildew smell. The bathroom is kept organized with towels neatly arranged on the rack rather than draped over the shower curtain bar or enclosure. The lower rail features a waterproof rocker switch that illuminates red when in the ON position. A medium-head Phillips screwdriver and included Allen tool are needed to assemble the rack. Fully-assembled, the rack weighs less than 5 lbs, and no special tools or mounting hardware is needed to install it on the wall, but wet towels are heavy, so you will want to fasten the rack into wall studs using the included wood screws, or use toggle bolts (not included) if wall studs aren’t located where you need them to be, to ensure the rack is mounted safely and securely to your wall. Ideally, the rack should be mounted at an arms length of the tub or shower enclosure so the warmed towels are easily accessible. A strip of wiremold helps to hide the power cord. Some light assembly is required to attach the mounting bars to the rack using the included machine screws. I initially thought I was missing a screw, but found it had been pre-installed in the rack. Two of the mounting bars were angled outwards, and had to be muscled and bent into place so that all 4 mounting bars sat flush against the wall. Other than that, installation was easy and straight-forward. The polished chrome finish easily smudges and fingerprints. I wish this warmer rack was available in more finishes, such as venetian bronze, to better coordinate with existing fixtures and finishes in my bathroom. This warmer rack works well, and the quality is decent, but I don't particularly care for the way the mounting bars attach to the rack with screws, leaving room for improvement.

            Very cool looking design
Great looking design. This bar will fit in with any decor with this cool design. Sleek lines and the curved chrome pipes are very nice. Its made out of rust resistant stainless steel. This is very important in a bathroom setting. The moisture from showers and baths can easily rust lower quality steel. The installation is simple and shouldn't take more then a half hour. The hardest part is finding a place to install it near a receptical. I had to punch a hole in the wall and run it through a closet behind the wall. It is a one piece design and only uses 40 watts of electricity. But it gets very warm. Warm enough to make your towels nice and cozy.

            Not so hot..
My bathroom is on a concrete slab, so it remains cold during the winter months. I've been looking forward to a towel warmer to supplement the warmth after a shower and was happy when this product came along. I like how this unit plugs into a grounded outlet, so I was hoping for a simple installation. However, this product has been disappointing from the get go. The instructions were very basic/generic and combined with blurry and grainy photos made assembly more difficult than it should have been. Additionally, a template for hole locations on the wall would have been super helpful...or at least providing the dimensions of the hole locations Despite the bars getting nice and toasty, my towel is never really warm. The bars may warm up in 20 minutes, but not towels. It does work as a nice towel dryer though. Maybe a larger towel rack would work better than the 4-bar model. Thankfully, it uses little energy at only 40 Watts. There is no timer function, which would have been a nice additional feature.

            Easy Solution
I initially thought when purchasing this product that it would need to be wired in, with a thermostat attached, similar to a heated floor. That is not the case--I was pleasantly surprised when opening the package to see that one must simply plug it in to an outlet. The product is described as an appliance and it is recommended that one plugs it in to a grounded socket. That was good news for me, because it saved a lot of time. This is something to be aware of, however, when you consider purchasing this for your bathroom. The cord is not very long, so you'd need to install it within arm's reach of a grounded outlet. As being in the middle of a bathroom remodel with a "blank slate," I have full control over the location of the outlets and any respective appliances that need to be plugged in. If your bathroom is finished, and the location of the existing towel rack is not near an outlet, you may wish to consult an electrician for your options as this would complicate installation. Installation: I have no doubt in my mind that this product can be installed by anyone, regardless of level of experience. The plug-in feature makes installation of this product accessible to a larger audience. The installation is very similar to other non-powered towel bars and similar bathroom accessories I have installed. The most challenging part about installation was the instructions. The instructions were hard to read and seemed to be non-specific to the model of towel rack I have. The photographs were small and fuzzy, and they seemed to be of a different towel rack than the one I have. There were also steps that I don't feel were adequately explained; for example, the need to use a long-enough screwdriver to insert a screw through the mounting rods (I have provided pictures of my solution here). The unclear instructions added about 15 minutes to the project for brainstorming. That being said, once I figured things out on my own, the installation went very smoothly and quickly. Use: When installed, plugged in, and turned on, the towel rack heats up very quickly. The instructions say it holds about 130 degrees Fahrenheit--I can't verify that, but it is very warm, but not too warm to touch. It kept my towel nice and warm. The on/off button is very intuitive, and also sits on the bottom of the towel rack so it's not too visible--it also glows red when its turned on. One thing to know about this product is that its as wide as a typical towel bar you'd use for hand towels. For bath towels, you will need to fold them in half length-wise in order to use this product (or, have them bunched up). You may also consider folding them again, depending on how long your bath towels are, so they don't hang below the rack. This is perfectly fine, however, because the heat will dry off the towel after use regardless of the shape its folded into. You can hang four towels from this rack, but I recommend using the top two bars so the towels can benefit from the most heat points. I like to hang bath towels from the top two, and a couple hand towels from the bottom of the rack to soak up residual heat. This specific model is great for a master bathroom, as it can hold a one or two towels. There are larger models by this company that you might consider for a bathroom that serves more occupants.

Before install I read instruction several times. For mid 70 years woman, it was challenge to install. I put screws temporarily on the wall to align 4 rods properly to hang. After it sure fit well, I used different kind anchor ( screw type from Home Depot ) then tightened with small tiny nuts. It wasn’t difficult just need careful measure & patience. Outcome was beautiful & seamless! Easy to clean, perfect size for my shower over the tub bathroom. I like 40 watts power, not too hot but enough. It will help cold air @ winter too. During hot summer day I turn off switch that is water proof. I am very happy my towel warmer. Thank You!
