CB1-SED10-BB features a pleated sediment filter that is reusable and washable, effectively reducing dirt, sand, silt, scale and rust particles. Rated to 30 microns, it can treat water with high flow rates and low pressure drops. The unique sediment filter offers exceptional dirt holding capacity and is bacteria and chemical resistant, suitable for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The 10 premium BB housing are the highest quality housing in the industry which can withstand a wide range of water pressure for different applications.

A:  Dear Customer, The pleated sediment filter needs to be cleaned or replaced depending on your water quality and usage. In most cases every 6 to 12 months. Best Regards, Apec Customer Service

    A:  Hello, our housings do not come with a pressure relief valve. In our experience, this is an additional part which may break and is not a necessity. When it is time to change the filters, we recommend turning off the incoming water supply and opening the nearest faucet to help relieve pressure.
