      A:  As long as you have good water pressure going into the unit and water quality is within normal range should be fine. The stages 1,2 pre-filters you would change out every 6-8 months and the stage 3 membrane and 4 post carbon filter every 2-3 years on average depending on usage and water quality.           A compact unit that fits in small spaces. Very high quality and great support.
          This is the first time I purchased a PO filter, and needed one to fit under a small cabinet. Here's the main points: 1. I was confused at all the different models, but APEC's customer support was very helpful finding me a small unit. Their support was excellent both before and after the sale. Special thanks to Ken and Ydira - you are awesome! 2. Installation took me about 2.5 hours from start to finish, but I'm familiar with plumbing. If you're not plumbing oriented, it may take a bit longer. The only tip I would recommend is when installing, is keep the original length of tubing supplied with the unit - don't cut them to fit. This way, if you have to temporarily move the unit outside of the cabinet, you have enough hose to do it without having to disconnect everything. (See photo). 3. The quality of the water output is excellent. Our tap water is pretty bad, but the output was just like distilled. The flow rate was pretty good too; I can fill a gallon jug in about 1.5 minutes. The quality of the components (fittings, connections, filters, etc) looks high quality. I would highly recommend this unit to others looking for a smaller unit. Very high quality of water, and amazing customer support.

              Not impressed with the Quick-90
              I have a permeate pump system at my other house and I love it. When I decided to install a system at my new home, I immediately went to APEC, but this time around both the product and service have been fair at best. The Quick-90 came with a leaky joint. I simply removed and cut the tubing and re-inserted and the leak was taken care of. About 2 months into service however, the unit stopped completely. Troubleshooting revealed a clogged pre-filter and the tech is apparently sending a new one. My issue is that I don't care to be replacing filters every 2 months. My system is connected to municipal water. Tech support is hard to reach and mostly done via email which has long delays. Reaching someone outside of the support team is next to impossible. I have asked repeatedly is I can exchange the system for one of the units having 3 larger pre-filters and have had no reply to that question. Overall, I have a 2 month old system and I'm using a countertop filter pitcher and feel I have no long term resolution or good communication from APEC.

                Never going back!
                I recently decided to downsize my living situation and sold my full-size unit with the house. I bought this because the smaller footprint is much more conducive to a smaller cabinet and limited storage space. I have to say, the water that comes from this unit is just as amazing as the water from the full-sized unit. Tastes like the most delicious premium bottled water (i.e. absolutely nothing), super hydrating, and many levels of magnitude better than anything else I have put in my body from a tap. I have been using systems from this company for probably 7+ years now and have never been disappointed by the quality of the products (customer service is great too). I will continue to be a customer for life! I always recommend APEC to anyone that asks about in-home water filtration.
